I am an avid chipotle lover especially as I am not a fast food fan. I was debating for the last 24 hours even writing anything. However, clearly something is not working well at this location. As there are several poor reviews and comments about food, atmosphere, ect.
It was long day yesterday for us as we had just closed up our little cafe shop and wanted to stop in for a quick bite. However, we were not able to do that. We also wanted to sit down and enjoy our meal. It was 7:00 pm on Saturday. All the chairs were up an employee was eating in the corner at table. Understandable as employees are humans and need breaks and food to nourish their bodies. That’s not the problem. The problem it’s a Saturday they’re not supposed to be closing / closed until 10 pm?? As a business owner if you have chairs in your building they don’t go up until maybe ten minutes before closing to help keep attracting customers, and not having annoyed patrons. Especially In a community that’s isn’t happy about anything already. Since we were not going to be able to eat in. We were going to get food to go. That couldn’t happen either. Maybe they had a rush?? Maybe a lot of door dash deliveries prior?? Who knows as the employees were hiding in the back for a while until one slowly meander its way to take a gals order. Mind you it’s still 7:00 pm on a Saturday a prime time for individuals to get dinner. Eventually two more employees appeared one took a door dash order and the other slowly paced the kitchen and got irritated and annoyed when one of the other employees asked him To make steak. No more food was going to be made if it was not asked for. No one in the restaurant was eager to do their job of having a stocked food display. Beans looked like they hadn’t been touched since noon, hardly any to no meats prepared or going to be prepared in a timely manner, veggies, guac, queso, all were pretty much out. With no intentions to restock the containers. I could understand it being empty if there was a rush. However, you still re-stock or try to look like you’re actively going to re-stock / make options available again. Plus people were still walking in after us. Hope they got what they needed as we walked out and decided to comeback maybe some other time.

We have not ordered from the Chipotle in over 2 years. We decided to give it another try and just wow. When we came into the store it was absolutely filthy. I still continued to order my steak bowl at 5:30pm in the evening and they didn’t have steak or rice ready. Instead of saying anything the girl just started running around I assume making those ingredients. The counter where the food is stored looked as if it hasn’t been cleaned in weeks. After a few minutes we left without anyone saying a word. There was 4 total workers and not a word. I would not recommend going to this location at all

This is the filthiest chipotle I have ever been to. Every single time I go inside the floors are caked in sticky foot prints, tables are covered in food and the prep counter where meals are put together is smeared in sour cream cheese and other bits of food. The guy with the pink hair literally scoffed at me when I asked for a large queso because the person ahead of me also asked for it and another employee had to step in to finish it after already stood at the counter for several minutes waiting for anyone to even behind taking my order. Being one of the only option around here for healthier food options around here shouldn’t be an excuse to have horrible service and disgusting surfaces.

The Clovis Chipotle is probably the worst Chipotle I’ve experienced. Which sucks because I love Chipotle. It seems as if the clovis team and management don’t care about their customers or their quality of service. The store is consistently dirty, our online orders are always made incorrectly, and the attitude of the staff is always negative and improper whenever we come though for food. My wife and I have yet to have a genuinely good experience with the clovis location. It’s time to shut down and start over. Don’t spend your money here folks, there are much better places in town.

Food is great but they’re too stingy with the meat and portions. Unless you’re a woman you’re gonna have to ask for extra meat. My sister went first as a little experiment and sure enough the worker had given her a heaping full scoop and another half scoop of chicken. When I went up there i was given barley full scoop and my sister didn’t even ask for extra. I had to ask for extra and was charged an extra 4 bucks.

Dirty dirty dirty We have tried to go a few times. We are hoping they will clean the place up and keep it clean. The staff has a no care attitude. Make sure you go at least 4 hours before closing if you want choices or else they’re not going to have anything and they will tell you, we are not going to make it.
