Just reopened and for a pizza by the slice window the slices are TINY, I can’t imagine charging $5-7 for a slice that is the size of one piece of a personal size pizza. The salad was decent, too much dressing. It also took forever to order and get the food and the pizza tasted reheated.

My slice of pepperoni was wildly delicious, I’ll be back soon!

This use to be a pizza place I would frequent. It was affordable, decent pizza, and they had a lot of unique flavors. They used to do a square pizza with a lot of toppings but now they’ve gone to a typical round slice that can’t fit any toppings on it. Might sound like a minor gripe but if you had the pizza before and the pizza now you would understand that the value of the purchase has worsened significantly. Probably won’t be returning as long as it stays this way. It’s a shame because it really was one of the last really affordable options in my downtown area.

Not so great crust, I was really hoping this will be like one of those New York Style street pizza but I dint like how the crust was made, felt very cheap for the price. Each slice is 5 bucks but its not very tradionally made!

Update… They switched the style of pizza, no longer a thicker, square crust with lots of toppings. Now it’s just a basic thin crust, sparse topping, round pizza. I thought $5-7 was ok for the original style they served. Now it seems over priced for one slice, even if the cut it into two small pieces. Do people really think $7 for one slice of cheese pizza is acceptable? At least they got rid of the greasy bag and now serve in a box. Chiosco’s used to be unique, now it’s just standard pizza, and over priced at that.
Original review: Ah greasebags… I love the white on white, which is a lovely potato pizza with white sauce and white cheese. They serve square slices with a thick and crunchy crust. I call them greasebags because they serve you the pizza in a soggy, greasy paper sack, much like a 40 oz of Old E. And you can get beer or wine through the window too, which is great. It’s definitely a good spot if you want a different style of pizza.

Ordered today’s special. Delicious crust. Pretty nice toppings, $7 a bit up there though (regular slices $5 as of this writing).

The crust had decent flavor but too doughy/thick for the style, kinda a deal breaker for me.

Great place but not nearly as good anymore since they changed their crust. Used to be my favorite. Still stop by if you have never been before.

Not starting off great. Supposed to be open until 8pm, but when we stopped by a little before 7:30pm, they had long since closed for the day. I really hope this isn’t a trend. The second star is only because their prices seem okay. As to how it translates to quality, maybe I’ll find out some day.

This used to be my favorite slice in the city. They recently changed their crust and it’s no longer the same. Bring back the sour dough tasting crust
