Fast and friendly service but the food was only mediocre. We ordered egg rolls which were very good. Lettuce wraps were only Ok. And the chicken fried rice was a little on the dry side for my liking. An ok place but wasn’t too impressed.

We come here regularly, and have never had a bad experience. The food is so good, I don’t even like take-out places anymore. We’ve brought a few friends and family members with us lately, and have “converted” them, too.

Found this place over six years ago and finally got to come back with my wife. She’s not normally an Oriental food person but we both absolutely loved the atmosphere, the owners and definitely the food. This time we had the dumplings and the Tahitian Chicken with fried rice and egg drop soup. Neither of us have ever had that type of chicken but it was a very pleasant surprise. Their hot oolong tea was so amazing that my wife made me pick up an extra box of it to take home.
We will definitely go there again when we’re in town and look forward to talking with the owners again and an awesome meal.

I may have already reviewed Chin’s, but since I was asked, I will say it again. This restaurant is a MUST. Everything is fresh. Everything I’ve tried is wonderful, and I’ve been all over the menu. Soups, original egg rolls, Rangoon, main dishes; it doesn’t matter. You’ll find each superior to similar dishes (but not exact) offered at the typical Chinese take out establishment. Unlike the typical, Chin’s is unique, with recepies handed down along with a superb dedication to service. Go. Try anything ( and I HIGHLY recommend the Tahitian Chicken). Enjoy.

Had take out. Quick service. Egg rolls didn’t have any bean sprouts, too much celery, and mushy inside – but we’re a good size. Seemed like the veggie mix in the King Pow Chicken was a frozen mixture. I have had much better chinese food.

Hands down best oriental food in West Virginia. Can not go wrong with any dish here, also will leave you hard pressed to find better egg rolls anywhere else.
Great calm an relaxing atmosphere.

Truly authentic Chinese cuisine served up in a family run establishment. The staff are always friendly and personable which elevates this to a must visit restaurant in Charleston. Be sure to try the egg rolls!

So sorry to see Chin’s closing. We’ve been going there for several years and it has been our favorite place for Chinese food. We will miss the coziness of the dining room and the efficiency of the takeout service. Our entire family will miss the great food and friendly service.

First time there. The was great. I am from Cleveland and there are many sit down Chinese restaurants. They are great and this restaurant compares. I enjoyed it, more authentic Chinese food than the troughs at all the buffets. I live in Huntington and will travel back to eat. My granddaughter, who hates Chinese food, took my doggie box and ate and enjoyed. Would recommend to anyone.
