This place has a nice atmosphere, good and attentive service, and wonderful food. I was a bit sad they did not offer a vegetarian pho, but the ginger pepper tofu vermicelli bowl was really wonderful. The tofu was hot and cooked perfectly, not too crispy, but with a crisp edge and seasoned deliciously. It came with sautéed veggies and pickled carrots, all the fixings and lettuce. I asked for no fish sauce and it was still incredibly flavorful. Hope to be back again.

I last visited Chin’s in early November and at the time learned that the long time owners decided it was time to retire. The new owners did not want to see the place closed and decided to invest in the local community. A few long time employees stayed on too. The place closed for a few days to remodel a little, and refresh everything, including the menu.
I visited last night for dinner, 12/6, found some new friendly, and old familiar faces (Hi John). The menu now offers Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai food. The place looks great, the staff offers the same great service, and the food taste is a good or better. This says alot about trying to maintain consistency and the old customer loyalty, which expanding the menu to pull in new customers.
We arrived to enjoy the dinner special and ordered Pan Fried dumplings, Sesame Chicken, Chicken with mixed vegetables in a White sauce, and Beef and broccoli. The accompanying soup was either wonton or egg drop.
We enjoyed ourselves, and our dinners, and I think you will too. I hope that if you decide to visit that your experience is as good or better than mine.

I have revisited this establishment many times since my last post. The most recent being 3/21 with a relative. We both ordered the lunch special of chicken with mixed vegetables in a white sauce. Our soups were wonton and egg drop, along with an egg roll. The food was good, the service great, and this family owned restaurant is still going strong.
I hope you decide to give them a try.

We’ve eaten here before. This is a locally and family owned restaurant. Their food and service are good. They have survived Covid-19 and are still around.
We generally will visit during the lunch or dinner hours because of the specials they have for their customers.
I’ve been visiting them for at least 15 years and really enjoy their dishes.

We have been longtime patrons of Chin’s Garden and wanted to support the restaurant under its new management, so we decided to give it a try. We visited on a Sunday for lunch but were told they no longer offer lunch specials on Sundays. It is only dinner pricing. This was surprising, as there was no signage in the restaurant, on the menu, or on the website indicating this policy.
The lemon chicken was also disappointing, as it was battered and a bit dry.
We decided to give the restaurant another chance and ordered takeout. This time, when placing our order, we were told we could not get crab rangoons for takeout, even though they are listed as a choice on the menu. We were also told that the soup included with a meal is not available for takeout unless we pay an additional $5 each meal. Again, none of these restrictions are listed. We still proceeded with ordering, and while the food was delicious this time, it was still disappointing to not be able to get what we wanted and what was listed on the menu.
Overall, the experience felt disappointing and unfriendly. If these practices continue, I can see them losing both longtime customers and new patrons.

Prices have SOARED! It’s honestly wild. This was our go to spot but we will NOT be back. It is under new management and that’s not to knock what they have done but the prices are not worth it. They provided a 20% for the opening month and it was still north of $30 for just two dinners and an appetizer. Honestly there’s better places to go that have better quality food for just 5 maybe $10 more bucks. How is 6 crab ragoons coming out to $8 when the oil tastes like it wasn’t fresh or the greatest? Honestly such a shame. Service was good but food quality was right above average; nothing crazy. Honestly the crab ragoons is what made me feel like the quality wasn’t great. Meal was good.

This is my to-go order of Orange Chicken today… by far the smallest portion size I’ve ever seen…and for $15! The fried rice was just white rice with soy sauce and nothing else. Definitely the worst chinese food I’ve ever had! I guess that explains why it was empty

I came here with my boyfriend and we both ordered sesame chicken it was my first time here. The presentation was great and the service was spot on fast like ridiculously amazing fast. We are always looking for some tasty spots in SA this one had to be one of my favorite spots.

They give you a very good portion compared to other restaurants and all at good price too,

This is one of my favs. Today I placed an order for my office, they don’t offer a family size entrees but no problem. I ordered Pepper Steak and lemon chicken off the dinner menu. The food was fresh, delicious my co workers loved it. The eggrolls just flew off the table. Let me grab one quickly!! Try this place for lunch, you’ll love it.
