I live an hour away so haven’t been to Chino Bandido in years, went today and everything is exactly as I remember. Amazing food from the Jade Red quesadilla right up to the Snickerdoodle cookie for dessert. Definitely won’t be waiting years to come back again.

The food seemed much better, as was the quantity, years ago. There was always plenty for leftovers. …At this new location, it’s either hit or miss. The chile relleno was good, but it lacked flavor on the coating. The Jade Red Pork and Chicken is still good, as was the rice and beans. Try it for yourself. We love the menu variations.

I got the diablo chicken, red jade chicken, and pork fried rice. It was ok. The best part was the snicker doodle. Drink is sold separately so the double entree with a drink ends up being around $20. If I go back it will pretty much just be for the cookie. Worth trying at least once.

I had been eyeing up Chino Bandido for months. I live in Surprise and was looking for an opportunity to get over to the Phoenix area and try them out. Finally had a free day and went for lunch.
A large restaurant in a strip mall with plenty of parking. When you order you have many choices between proteins , rice , burrito or quesadilla . You can have it either in a combo bowl or rice bowl.
I like Carnitas and tried a combo bowl. I had a Carnitas burrito , the Gringo quesadilla , Chicken fried rice and Black beans. It comes in a metal takeout tin. I asked if the Carnitas had onions in it because I’m sensitive to them . The server ( nice guy) said the Carnitas had some but I could have something else if I wanted to. I gave it a try. Both , the burrito and quesadilla had scallions in them. Not a fan of them but I ate it. You get a nice portion of food. Everything was fine . For me a return trip is not in the cards. Too far from my house and the food was average .

Food’s good portions are too small prices are way way way too high for what it is. Plus a 90cents charge for a ramekin of hot sauce. I thought it was free like everywhere els. Not here and the hot sauce is just caned salsa. Restaurant looks nice. Service is fine.

Been going here for years . The service was descent, but the food tasted like it had been sitting underneath a heat lamp all day. Very hard and chewy, void of flavor. Price has gone up so much, not really worth it in my opinion

The Pork fried rice was excellent, but the machaca was a little drier than expected. I put their hot salsa onto the beef and it made it better.
Overall, they had the best and friendliest service!
