I want to balance my opinion with the value the restaurant brings. HOSPITALITY: We were served complimentary tea. The staff was very attentive. VALUE: the price of the food was surprisingly affordable. I can see this being a place to eat out at without breaking the bank.
I was glad to see a version of it on the menu as almond chicken. While it wasn’t exactly what I remember, it definitely scratched that nostalgic itch. This was solid, old-school American-style Chinese food.
I ordered a combo and chose sweet and sour chicken with steamed rice, and added an order of spring rolls. Everything was flavorful, well prepared, and the portions were generous. Best of all, it was reasonably priced.
A dependable choice for classic Chinese takeout.
We recently found this place and have been back several times since. I’ve never had a bad meal here. The food is always fresh, and as a picky eater, I really appreciate that they let you customize your order.
Portions are huge, so you definitely get your money’s worth. We’ve tried a variety of menu items, and everything has been delicious. My personal favorites are the egg foo young (a full meal on its own!) and the noodles I have chicken and add broccoli—flavorful and perfectly cooked.
They also offer takeout and delivery, which makes it super convenient when we’re craving something good at home.
If you’re looking for great food, big servings, and fresh ingredients, Chinn’s won’t disappoint! just found this
We’ve ordered from here multiple times, and it’s always great so I have no hesitation about recommending.
Unfortunately there’s a reason the prices are so great… The food was not good. I’m the kind of person who usually eats all of my lunch. Today I kept the chicken and got rid of the rest.
The Lo Mein was salty, the egg roll should have been called a burrito (btw the special dipping sauce is watered down ketchup). Then there was a dish I had never had before. A gravy covered egg dish… I ate half to be fair but again, super salty and unpleasant.
The two decent 3.5/5 items were fried rice and sweet and sour chicken.
My wife had the beef and vegetable and said she would say at best 2/5 stars.
The quality of food here has made me be er want to come back, even if the price is amazing.
