Amazing food and truly authentic flavors. The beef tacos on corn tortillas were absolutely delicious. The owner was incredibly kind and patient while taking my order, which made the experience even better. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. Highly recommend this place!

Absolutely disappointed. I spent $49 and got gourmet tomatoes and lettuce with a generous three pieces of steak. The flavor? Nonexistent. I didn’t know bland could be this expensive. Total rip-off.

This place has been open for 24 years. I wanted to try the sauces b4 ordering. I like my food to b spicy. And wanted to make sure it was spicy. The woman at the front was offended and rude. I ordered chips and salsa. This is what I got. Where is the salsa.? Disappointed.

– Service: Zero stars. They talk nasty to your family right in front of you creating a bad environment.
– Food: Two stars. Bad taste and bad ingredients.
– Cleanliness: 1 star. The tables were sticky.
– Price: 1 star. Expensive for the quality.
– Ambience: 2 Some old bachata music played by an older Dominican lady in the kitchen.

I will never come to this place again. I don’t recommend it, unless you want a bad experience. The high reviews that they already have must friends and family. I don’t believe that the high reviews that they have are dishonest.

I have lived in Coral Springs for 12 years, but I have never been, to my detriment, to this small casual Mexican restaurant that has been here for 23 years. The owners, Chini and Neri Enriquez, hail originally from Chiapas, Mexico, the southernmost state in the country, adjoining Guatemala.

The menu is very curated compared to other taquerias locally, and the majority of the customers are Americans. Burritos and Tacos are the focus, but they also have stuff like chilaquiles and serve fish tacos (which most places locally do not).

I ordered breakfast, huevos a la ranchera, and an order of tamales rajas (3). I tried to order the eggs with chorizo, but sra. Enriquez insisted I order it correctly — on the side — so I wasn’t going to question that.

All the ingredients for the food here are sourced from their family businesses in Chicago, including the chorizo and the tortillas made in Chicago, so everything tastes a bit different from stuff locally. The chorizo is excellent but oily, and you’ll want to suck that up with tortillas.

Rajas also were very good, with queso fresco and poblano chiles in it. Nicely seasoned.

While the food itself is not spicy, they will offer you some of their homemade chile de arbol sauce, which is explosively hot (to me, anyway) so I encourage you to try that, and don’t dump it on unless you know what you are doing.

I’ll be back.

Chini’s is unsurpassed in South Florida. A truly authentic and one of a kind Mexican eatery. It’s a small family run operation and the only thing that rivals the top notch food is the customer service. By my third trip to Chini’s I felt a part of their family. They’re so welcoming, pleasant, nice and genuine. The food is to die for! I’ve had Mexican from Boston, New York, Miami, Dallas, San Francisco and Los Angeles (Yes I’m a Burrito-Addict ) and Chini’s is my favorite to date. Verde or Roja Wet Burrito or Queso Con Pollo Enchilada’s are phenomenal but again everything I’ve ever had here was. Try it once and you may soon be the newest addition to the Chini’s Family!

Sincerely Satisfied,
Rich

Chini’s Burritos is tucked away in a shopping plaza in a location that is easy to miss if driving by. Dining in at the restaurant is currently not allowed due to COVId-19 restrictions but there are two small tables just outside the restaurant where you could sit down and eat your meal.

I ordered the Original Burrito with steak and my wife ordered the Enchiladas Verdes. We also ordered a side of Homemade Guacamole with Chips.

The Steak Burrito had a good combination of flavors which consisted of homemade pinto beans, rice, Mexican cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream. A red and green sauce accompanied the food which complimented the burrito well. I believe the red sauce was supposed to be a little bit spicier than the green one, however neither were really spicy to me. Portion size was good especially for the price tag of $9.49. My wife also enjoyed her Enchiladas.

Both the guacamole and chips were homemade and tasted great. The guac does not have a smooth texture like you probably have experienced in many other Mexican restaurants and instead is chunky. However, this does not detract from the taste at all and is very good to have on the side with your meal.

For the price and taste, I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to have a traditional Mexican meal.

This is as close I get to a real mexican burrito joint without driving to Texas or California. I go here all the time since it’s next to the gym. The food is always hittin.

Amazing burritos. I got an original steak burrito with no rice and beans. Guacamole and chips is made fresh to order. It even has the avocado seed inside. A little too much lime for my liking but my bf loves it. They sold out for the day so I didn’t get to try but they have traditional Mexican chicken tamales with the olive inside.
