You may have the best hopia in town but you will NEVER HAVE THE BEST SERVICE. I only visit San Diego once a year or two and I make it to a point to stop here for good hopia to take home with me. This guy at front who takes and packs your orders is VERY RUDE!!! I came in to order 3 x 50pcs and he just kept on rolling his eyes and shaking his head as if I am not helping their business. I don’t know who he is, I hope not the owner, but he needs some customer service skills. I wonder if I’m the only one whom he treated that way.

Yup I agree and it should be famous. Ching’s do have the best and I mean the best Hopia out here in San Diego. Not a fan at all of eating hopia but as soon as I tried their hopia, it’s game over! The dice ube hopia, oh my gulay! So good, that it kicked me out of my ketosis. That jackfruit tho, also my favorite! Ok fine I lied, all of the flavors are my favorite. Perfect dessert idea to bring for potluck or parties.

If you are looking for freshly baked hopia, this is the place for you. They have the best hopia in town. Hopia baboy is my favorite of them all. But I would definitely come back and try other flavors

I bought a “travel pack” of ube and buko pandan hopia as a souvenir to bring with me back to Colorado for my little brother. He says to me, “Kuya pls get some more next time you are in SD”. Neither of us really even ate hopia all that much growing up Filipino and finding it at different establishments, but this place…is something else. The “famous” in their name is not without backing. This really is the tastiest hopia I have ever eaten. It is insanely good. Obviously it’s great because it’s made fresh, but even after having it all packed up and eaten over the course of two days (we would have inhaled it in two minutes if we weren’t careful) all 27 of the hopia was absolutely top notch. It holds up over time. I’m coming back to get three more of these travel packs. They are so good.

Rude service. Had an inquiry regarding a flavor and received unhelpful feedback. He kept reiterating to tell him our order and didn’t bother clarifying our questions. Decided we needed more time to think about our order and he scoffed at us. This employee demonstrates disrespectful behavior and incompetency. Does this reflect your business’s values? Yet, when we returned, he denied his behavior and proceeded to gaslight us. Will NEVER return to this establishment.
