Food was ok. I used the drive-thru. The breaded chicken is mostly breaded. The Veggie fried rice was good. Gen chicken was good. Egg rolls were good. Probably will keep looking for the perfect Chinese spot.

The place is disgusting. I am so sorry – very rarely do I say anything negative but I’ve checked it out TWICE and it left a bad impression both times. Today I went for lunch and ordered the combination lo-mein – the sauce was sticky, brown and bland. It tasted like watered down oyster sauce mixed with grill. I am originally from Conroe where 15 minutes’ drive there’s so many great ethnic options already in Spring/ Rayford and Sawdust but I’m here now and go to uni at Sam. I have to make do. The food is so unfortunate around this area – but this place is the worst. Also – the fried rice “fried rice” if you can even call it that, which came with the meal was white on the inside and still partially cold. I will be putting pictures here. The place gave me massive diarrhea. If I wasn’t so hungry I couldn’t have eaten it. I don’t believe I will be going back. I do have something positive to say about the staff – you guys rock at drive-thru! These are troubling times but this food is terrible quality.

Ordered quarts of combo rice and vegetable rice. Plus a 3 piece egg roll. The quart of plain white rice is what was supposed to be combo rice for 8.99. The vegetable fried rice was light on actual vegetables and there were clumps of rice that didn’t get any sauce. The egg rolls were almost burnt and greasy like they were cooked in old oil. Picked up this train wreck of a meal on the way home 30 miles away from Huntsville. Phone goes automatically to voice mail that says to call back in 2 minutes and the box is full. Needless to say subsequent calls go right to voice mail. Been going to this place for years. Something changed management or owner ? Quality has taken a dive the last few times were bad. Just go get take out at the Grand Buffet and leave this place alone.

I ordered teriyaki chicken with general tso chicken, I honestly can say it’s far from Chinese food style. The rice had a bouillon taste, usually it has little veggies or pork nothing. I requested extra spicey it tasted like sugar sauce, now the chicken teriyaki was the biggest disappointment drowned in sweet sauce like soup literally, there was rice under the soupy teriyaki omg I’m so traumatized, the only good thing was the egg rolls I guess it was pre-made and fried . If yall need someone to teach yall how to cook American chines food please let me know because this food ain’t it!

This place needs a good cleaning. Bathrooms were filthy and the dining table was sticky. I wish that we had decided to walk out based on the initial impression. Was not worth the $30 dollars spent. Never again!

Only get the egg rolls or dumplings. The sauce is the same with all the dishes it seems. From chow mein to the pepper steak it’s a really weird gravy substance that has no discerning flavor. Unless they completely change the recipe, it’s kinda doomed. 40 dollars wasted.

Chinese Wok in Huntsville, Texas, is a bad choice if you want good food. I’ve tried this place many times, but I was always disappointed. The food was either too wet with sauce or had no sauce at all. Their egg rolls were very greasy, and the extra sauce made the bag messy. The last time I went, I ordered sweet and sour chicken, but there was no sweet and sour sauce on it. There are better places to eat Chinese food, so it’s best to stay away from Chinese Wok.

So I know times a rough. But dammm where’s the meat ??? Seriously if I’m going to pay $$ .. There’s supposed to be chicken, beef and shrimp. There’s more veggies and sauce than anything. This is my first time with this place and my last !! Never will I order from here again.

I’ve never left a review before in my life but i am now. Wish i could give less than one star for this place. I ordered sweet and sour chicken with fried rice. The chicken itself was gross and overbreaded. It looked like they took popcorn chicken, filled the syrofoam container with sweet and sour sauce and then sat the chicken directly on top of it. It was fried chicken pieces in sweet and sour soup. The fried rice was hardly that. A portion of my rice was still white while the other side tasted like pure salt from soy sauce. Mushy and cold. Hardly edible. This is the worst food I’ve eaten in quite some time and i will never go back.

I dare you to find a petty and pathetic man than there is “Frank,” the owner, at this restaurant. I drive 15-20 minutes there and 15-20 back to Riverside to get this, the closest Chinese. One day, I asked for “no sweetsour, but I need 4 dumpling saunce.” The drivethru guy gives me 4 sweetsour instead. I drive home 20 minutes to find the mistake Frank’s employee made. Call employee and he tells me he’ll have my order remade. Get this: I don’t eat dumplings without dumpling sauce (the reason is in the name).
