We asked if they could make our dishes spicy. They said sure. When we picked it up we noticed that they added a charge for that on every single dish. Perhaps if they told us it would be extra, we would have declined and just added our own chili oil to it at home 🙁 When we saw this, their solution was to offer us an almond cookie… Furthermore, their friend rice is interesting… I’ve never seen anything like it. It was just straight up rice fried with soy sauce. No peas, no carrots, no sprouts, no egg, nothing but rice, soy sauce, and oil.

This little gem, located in the Bridgeport neighborhood, has been serving the public for quite some time. They were originally a take-out spot but expanded to serviced dining a few years back. With an improved atmosphere and attentive service, they have really elevated their status as far a Chinese restaurants go. The food continues to be amazing, and they make sure you’re satisfied as you enjoy your meal. I hope they continue to prosper as they do quite well trending to their customers.

Monkey brain appetizer was different and delicious, Pink Lady Roll was fenominal and so flavorful, Philly, Alaskan, Spicy tuna were a great value for the lunch special. Everything was super fresh. Hot tea is a great value for 2 person dinner

Food was pretty average. The fried rolls had a lot of cream cheese, if you like that you’ll love this spot. I’m personally not a huge fan of the cream cheesy sushi so I won’t be back. However, the vegetable fried rice was very delicious so if that’s what you’re craving you should come here. I honestly preferred the simple rolls to the specialty rolls here. They do have a great lunch special if you’re getting items other than sushi, worth it to check out if that’s what you’re interested in.

The is a welcoming and quiet environment, which is a breath of fresh air from the intense noise of other places. It feels intimate with exceptional hospitality. Every morsel was fresh and filing. I had to take it to go but I will return. Stop eating at chains when this kitchen is open to you!
