How can reviews be so different? Not only did we stand around five minutes ignored until we finally decided to seat ourselves, but the place is dismal in appearance. We should have gone with our gut feeling to just leave. Yes, prices are “good,” unless you realize you’re paying for awful food. I’m sure this is a little mom and pop place, but it’s dreadful. It is served nicely, looks good, tastes….no. THIS is considered the best Chinese food in Cruces? Cruces has NO decent Chinese food, none. I ate some of the vegetables out of the (bland) Curried Chicken, but the greasy little plops of chicken made me nauseated. I am giving two stars because I don’t have the heart to give it just one. It looks like it’s on its last legs. Once we obeyed the unwritten “seat yourself” rule, the staff came over and were very pleasant. But nice staff can’t improve the meal.

It’s your average Chinese restaurant. Very affordable and very consistent. They are also fast. If you call ahead it usually only takes around 10 to 15 minutes to get your food. They have daily specials that are pretty good. If you need a quick cheap place to eat you could do worse.

I have come here randomly through the year since I don’t live close. Every time I come I always leave happy as can be. The customer service I received here was very welcoming and was made feel like family. The waiter went out of his way to make my family feel at home and treated us with attentiveness. This and another mom and pop shop, are my fav Chinese restaurants in town. My personal fav is the Kung Pao Chicken; I like that you can ask them to make it less or more spicy depending on your preference, since they make all meals fresh. The serving sizes are also generous whether you dine in or take out. The rice is always make perfectly and other items we’ve ordered are always just as tasty. Sad it’s been temporarily closed for some time now.

The fastest Wok in town! Always consistent, fresh and made to order. No soggy buffet items here. Lunch menu items extremely affordable and large portions. My favorite is the Sub Gum Chicken. Not the fanciest restaurant in town, but if you’re looking for good Chinese food, this is the place!

I love Chinese Kitchen the food is really good and the price is really good as well for the amount of food that we get, we eat their at least every other week. I highly recommend eating at Chinese Kitchen one of my all-time favorite Chinese restaurants here in Cruces. And their daily specials saves you money.
