It’s okay/average Chinese food and the cashiers are pretty rude. Y’all need to learn how to treat customers with respect and not give us attitude. There’s plenty of Asian places to eat at in Blacksburg and I hope you guys know I only ate here bc I had to sell my car and this place is one of the only two restaurants that are walking distance of my place. Don’t show your customers disrespect again. I will never be going back here. Y’all ain’t five stars you guys are mid. It’s not bad food but it’s not anything special. The prices and portions are decent. Cafe Mekong is a trillion times better than this place it’s not even close. Pretty much only eat here if you live close and don’t feel like going anywhere else that’s farther away lol because as I mentioned that’s what happened to me.

Honestly didn’t plan on ending up here, but there wasn’t much open at 10 PM on a Sunday evening. I know a lot of people come here for late night drunk food, but I decided to give it a try with my family.

First of all, we’re Chinese, so we ordered off of the Chinese menu instead of the English one, which has much more authentic dishes. The food was very good! My only issue was the ambiance- there were a ton of bugs in the restaurant because of the lights just outside the restaurant on the ceiling of the strip mall. The plaza is also quite sus at night.

Service was also great, but I feel being and speaking Chinese helped.

very kind and polite people, me and my boyfriend ate here after we went to the pool. a lovely older woman took care of us and made sure we had fresh cold water. the food pricing is great and tastes delicious, would definitely recommend!

Worst moo shu i have ever had. Tasteless cabbage and anemic pork. Threw it out. Tastless. Szechuan beef was breaded and orange colored. Put the moo shu plum sauce and our own hot sauce on it and my husband was able to tolerate it. I wonder how they have they stayed in business all these years with such terrible food?

Literally the best and the most authentic Chinese food in Blacksburg. Only serve real Chinese food after 7 pm.

The best general Tso’s chicken I ever had and after 7:00 or 7:30 at night, there’s an authentic Chinese menu. Really like the cabbage noodles and the homestyle tofu. The dumplings and dumpling sauce are usually really good.

the sesame chicken and fried rice were very good. the sauce reminded me of a bbq spicy hotwing sauce and was different than any other similar dish i have had. The grab your own spoon or fork bin is wild … you need to get individually wrapped silverware, but it kind of goes with the environment. #8robinsonsdtv #mariodeblakrobinson

The worst and worst food now. Everything was cold and old. Ragons brunt to a crisp literally. Rice shouldn’t be this color. Chicken and other food was days old reheated. I wouldn’t feed it to raccoons or my dog. It’s food poisoning bad.

This review is for Chinese kitchen from 20+ years ago when I was an Engineering student at VT. This place saved my life by offering the most delicious Hot Sour soup and Shrimp lomien with char shu pork fried rice for $4.35 including tax. Best shrimp broccoli ever. Now I live in an Asian community in SoCal but I never found a Chinese takeout as good as this place. Lots of good memories!

Paid almost $80 on a order of a variety of different menu items like chicken lo mein, general tsos, sweet and sour chicken, shrimp fried rice and crab Rangoon. The crab Rangoon were the only thing decent. All other Food was below par and we did not even eat less than half. Bad flavor and over cooked. On top of that it took about an hour to get it delivered. They didn’t bring any plastic ware or napkins. Very disappointed in this place and will not order from here again.
