Stopped for lunch on our way to New Orleans. My wife and I had the buffet and everything we had was very good – bourbon chicken, steamed broccoli, cabbage dish, fried fish, hot shrimp and chicken, crab rangoons, sweet potatoes and broccoli tempora, and the beef and chicken were excellent. The combination gumbo was very good – I have no way to compare it as it was the first time I have eaten gumbo. The two servers were excellent, always checking on beverages and clearing plates. Been eating from this restaurant for years as a local resident. Today I went in to get a to-go plate from the bar and the food was absolutely horrible… The fried Chicken was old and dry, the lo mein was hard like it’s left over with nothing but grease on it.
To say the least, it was disgusting !
I KNOW what left over DRY food taste like !
The when I called and spoke with the owner explaining how her food has always been good until this and she hung up on me !
Not good Business !
Beware !

Ruined $23 worth of food by drenching my mandarin chicken and egg foo young in sauce. There has NEVER been a Chinese restaurant that doesn’t put sauces in side containers. She did not want to remake or refund my order. Don’t worry I will not come back but good luck to anyone placing a to go order she is gonna ruin your meal.

Our first time here. The food was ok. My chicken sweet sour was soaked in sauce, a bit much for my taste. Husband had the buffet so he got me more rice. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself felt more like a canteen. All the walls were patched, nothing seemed to be done with special care.

Miss Kathy is always so friendly! Excellent service and excellent fresh food. They only add a little bit to the buffet at a time to keep it very fresh. Best Chinese/American I’ve ever had.

Got there late, but they still welcomed us. We didn’t want the bar. Both ordered from menu. They didn’t rush out and didn’t ask for us to pay bill early. Food was excellent. Large portions we both brought half of our food home. We were stuffed. Thank you to all of you.

We stopped in for a quick meal before a soccer game. Two of us ate from the Buffet and I ordered from the menu. Everything was above average, but not great. Restaurant could use some updating seafood from the menu was good although it was easy to tell the lobster was very old and should not have been served. The service and staff were excellent!
