Loved this little place. Ordered here for the first time and this will be my forever favorite place for Chinese food. The lady in the front was so nice and friendly. The food tasted amazing and was ready within 10 minutes. Definitely recommend and will be returning!

i won’t go anywhere else for chinese takeout! the staff is so friendly and they care so much about the quality of food that they put out. any time someone asks about where to get chinese food, i always tell them that this is the place to go! GET THE GENERAL TSO’S CHICKEN BTW YOU WON’T REGRET IT!!

I order a hot pepper chicken had like 6 little pieces of chicken and like 5 cut up. if I wanted a plate of bell pepper. I could of made that at home.

We ordered here tonight for dinner. The food is terrible. The worst rice I have ever tasted! It is very bland and dry. There is no egg, onion or meat in it. I added soy sauce to the rice because there was a big chunck if white rice in the middle with a few shrimp tossed on the side but that did not help. My general tso chicken was battered with biscuit mix or something and was falling apart. Egg roll was bland and over cooked and the crab Rangoon was disgusting. They did use real crab and onion but the taste was awful. I would give zero stars but that is not an option! Maybe it was the cook tonight or maybe the place is just nasty. If you want to eat here, make sure you don’t get it take out!

You know how most Chinese takeout restaurants basically look identical, have the exact same looking and tasting food, and even arrange it in identical containers? Chinese House is the exception and far above the average takeout restaurant.
The General Tso’s tastes better than anything else in the same price range. I have been coming here for over six years and it beats out every similar restaurant.

I do not understand how this place is one of the top rated chinese restaurants in Slidell.
I got crab rangoons, beef with vegetables, pork egg rolls, and Kung Pao chicken.
All the food I got lacked flavor and seasoning.
Crab rangoons: lack of flavor and filling, but honestly I didn’t miss the filling because there was no flavor. I have been to 100 buffets that do them better.
Beef with vegetables: lack of flavor/seasoning. Very bland, and for the price should have twice the meat.
Pork egg rolls: lack of seasoning. Very bland.
Kung Pao chicken: not even a hint of spicy. Again bland. And again, I’m paying 15 dollars for a family sized, where is the meat?!?!?
Staff member was super nice.
I should have gone to lucky panda or panda express.
