I used to come here a lot when I was younger, and it was the best Chinese food in town. Since moving away, I have missed this place and have looked for similar places in South Carolina. I had the chance to re-visit my old hometown, and I could not turn down the opportunity to eat here again. We ordered online, and it was simple enough. The prices are very reasonable given the portions and the quality. The food was absolutely amazing, just as I remember. I got fried dumplings and the boneless ribs combination platter. The fried dumplings are rich in flavor. The boneless ribs are great, as is the fried rice it comes with. The people working were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food was ready in a very reasonable amount of time. I love this place and I hope to come back to it soon!

I’ve only been here twice but both experiences were good. Had the chicken and garlic sauce. Rice was moist and the garlic sauce was very flavorful and the portion was perfect. Not a big fan of the wonton soup but have had way worse.

I hadn’t ordered from Chinese Gourmet in a while because I had fraudulent activity on the credit cards I had used immediately after ordering from them on line. This week I ordered on line and again the next day 3 fraudulent charges were attempted but luckily declined. My advice, do not order from them on line using their website. Food is great though.

Was very happy with this place. Good food and service until there was a rock in my food and I almost chipped a tooth. I called to have my money refunded, owner told me he isn’t able to do that but next time we order he would give us a free meal. Obviously, when we called back a few weeks later and reminded him of our issues a few weeks prior he refused to give us the free meal. We will not support this business any longer. And this is not the first time I am hearing about rocks in peoples food.

My credit card was used fraudulently the day after I ordered online. Charged over $1500 fraudulently. Numerous other people also had the same issue. They are aware and it still continues to happen.

Used to love this place, but unfortunately the food quality has gone way down. Today I walked in to pick up lunch and it smelled like an actual zoo. Not to mention, it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in months. Even if there are financial difficulties, it doesn’t cost much to keep a small space clean and smelling fresh. I’m not saying this to hurt their business, I just hope they see this and get their act back together.
