My food was delicious. However, I have one suggestion, and an observation. First, back off on the sugar. My beans were sweet, ribs too sweet, the Chinese restaurants around here have taken to adding so much sugar, it doesn’t even taste savory, only sweet. Beef up on the black bean sauce, throw in some hoisin, don’t be afraid to season it. When I go to a Chinese restaurant, I want Chinese food, not Chinese American food. “Chinese” vegetables have practically disappeared off the menu replaced with regular veggies. Where’s the Bok Choi, the bitter melon, the black mushrooms, the closest I can find is a bit of bok choi, bamboo shoots, maybe water chestnuts and that’s it. I don’t want carrots and peas in my fried rice, it’s not right, I want bean sprouts! Ok, back to the review. Good points: hot food, beans perfectly cooked but it said spicy and it wasn’t spicy at all, the Sichuan wonton were supposed to be spicy too. In short, increase seasonings and spices, back off the sugar, and it would be perfect. The food was delivered hot, well packaged and wrapped thoughtfully. Presentation 100%. I will definitely be back to try again.

No flavor. We both order chicken dishes, both agreed, no seasoning. And worse fried rice we have ever had. And the wonton soup, was just canned broth and dumplings. Very Bland. Very disappointing.

I wanted to make Singapore Mei Fun at home, but did not feel like making the Char Siu (bbq pork) I couldn’t find it at any Asian market so I went to a couple Chinese take out places and no one was willing to sell me just the plain BBQ Pork except the Man at Chinese First Wok who was happy to show me two different cuts of it and sell it to me as “BBQ spare ribs” but with no sauce or cooking. I did not get his name but he was so nice and accommodating, just wanted to say thank you!!!!

Gotta say the only disappointing part of ther meal was the generic, flavorless, yellow fried rice. I’d rate it a 3, as it was cooked well, good consistency, no hard pieces, no mushy pieces. Pork egg foo young was a definite 9.5. Perfectly cooked, perfect crispy texture and flavor. The dumplings were also great as was the ginger sauce. I’d rate it an 8.5. It’s hard to get a perfect dumpling these days without MSG, but these were fairly close. Overall very happy with the meal.

Looks so delicious, wonton soup, fried rice and fried chicken. They gave free fries and spring rolls yum yum yum

The seasoning on the rest of the food is mediocre but I would still call it food. The reason I am here is because we bought the coconut chicken. All the flavor from coconut chicken comes from the sweet vs sour, some places use vinegary mustard and sugar. Tell me why there is an extreme smell and taste of mayo with no sweetness or vinegar flavor. There is just coconut flakes on top no flavor of coconut. I’m known in my friend group as the person who eats anything. This is inedible it’s that bad, both my wife and I are sick. Not only that but it’s the most expensive of the coconut chicken in the area. I am neither a picky person or someone who complains about food. This was comparable to a child’s attempt at cooking someone with 0 experience. The rest of the food was bad but at least it was edible. 50$ wasted

When I first moved to Groton, I was, like, meh on their food. But NOW- somebody new must be in the kitchen or someone sat at the elders’ feet, because the food has been so flavorful. The staff has always been pleasant, really love that about them! Anyways, great food!

Today was our first time ordering. Our food was ready for pick up in under 15 minutes! The staff was very kind.
The soup had a generous amount of wontons. They were delicious. The boneless spare ribs were savory and tender. The pork fried rice was good but could have used more vegetables and pork. But all in all it was delicious combined with the boneless spare ribs. We also did a side of wings. They were nice and crunchy. We’ll def be back to try more items.

Granted, we ordered from here for Christmas. We were staying at a hotel with our son, and ended up feeling like takeout.
Most of the food was…. Ok. Just regular Chinese fare you expect. Not handmade egg rolls.
But the fried rice was barely cooked enough. Really hard.
I also ordered cashew chicken. Now THAT was a disappointment! I’d say 80% of the serving was CARROTS. Really?
There’s too many Chinese food places to eat from. I believe this is the first and last time we order here.
Sorry folks…..

Second time trying and as bad as the first. Ordered via DoorDash… I love Chinese food and this is, by far, THE WORST I’ve ever had. I placed an order order of different varieties to give a second chance. The crab Rangoon’s were very hard on the edges and chewy (as if frozen and the interior was plain cream cheese no herbs or flavor). The General Tsao was bland (their duck sauce is awful as well; simple bad taste). The Teriyaki beef sticks were “fall apart” but had a bad taste and were inedible.
