On vacation with my daughter and we saw a lot of buffets so we chose this one and it wasn’t bad at all. They were a clean place. Also we paid for our buffet after eating I have always paid first so paying after was nice. They had a lot of seafood options. So I was very impressed and would come back if we are ever in the area again.

I paid for 2 adult beverages and buffets. The price was good if the food was decent it would have been worth the 40$ . I experienced cold food that should have been hot even though I took it to the table… it was cold in the middle and hard … general t’s chicken and other dishes that I know are normally made frequently at buffet places. My friend got oysters and other seafood and said that it was cold and overcooked/robbery or hard and taste it a little weird. We grew up on seafood. But I didn’t eat the same stuff as my friend and was Told by them later on that night they were have signs similar to food poisoning while I was fine. I found the spring rolls and drinks were the best part of my meal. The waitress was very friendly and busy but did her best. The greeter was fast to seat us and was polite as well as the cashier. The ambience of the interior was nice.

The food was very mid. For example the meat was crunchy or hard when it should have not been, items were cold or too warm when they should not have been, or were tasteless… etc. the sushi especially was quite bad, no real fish (only minced fish and some sort of tilapia or cod nigiri? Very strange). They should definitely not advertise their sushi.
But it was very affordable price wise so I can’t be too mad.
However, the servers were attentive and paid great attention to our baby and entertained him by waving at him or talking to him when they walked by. That was super awesome of them and we appreciated it!

I work from Cape Charles, VA to Salisbury, MD. This is my favorite spot.
The food is made fresh. The variety is outstanding. The Sushi is amazing and the best variety around.
I seriously don’t know how they are making a large profit except for volume.

This isn’t to bad butt if you come 2 hrs before closing time. They will put the food away without tell you so when you get up for more there’s nothing. Also I had back surgery I ask to sit in back but they said it’s closed butt there where alot of people still there. So I don’t recommend this place horrible service . Everything put away 1hr before closing time crazy. Then they had the audacity to ask me to pay early lol. Wow

Large buffet. Also has sushi items. It depends on the time of day how good the food is. The dining area is dark, and the carpeting and booths could use a renovation. Cushions have lost their support and carpet is stained. Tables are always wiped off and appear clean, but a redo of the dining area would be welcomed.

I’ve been waiting for the new managers to settle in. It’s been a few months and there is nothing new nor fresh. If anything, it seems Chinatown Buffet is in a slow downward spiral. Myself and husband arrived a bit after 4pm knowing dinner entrées would be set out soon. Paying dinner price, was no problem. By 5pm, nothing. One simple note on one plate of sushi (Dinner guests only) By 5:25pm NOT one thing changed on the buffet lines. What was one line tasted as thou it was yesterday’s remains.
Soup was dreadful. My favorite line, Sushi, was the worse I’ve ever eaten. No tempura, no protines, no flavor. All rice and rolled vegetables. Now I am definitely a fan of AYCE anything. Now add Chinese food and sushi to that and you get the perfect storm. I tried almost everything including the free hibachi chef cooking what you order for tips. My only hesitation was the raw oysters due to the sally manelley poison coming from contaminated oysters they haven’t tracked down yet and the Chinese buffet ppl decided to serve them anyway but this place is a goldmine with alll the business they do so I guess the risk is worth it just not for me. Anyways yes 5 stars on everything but atmosphere. The TV was only in Spanish and the customers were strange folk indeed but it was Salisbury MD so what do I expect right? I recommend 100% go here today.
