Not gonna lie, I’m a Chinese food snob and have found it very hard to find good Chinese food in denver since moving here last year. I ordered the General Tao chicken with fried rice along with the hot and sour. The chicken and soup were . Great flavor and spice! I’ve had better fried rice but it was still good. I suspect getting a full fried rice meal would have more flavor. Overall solid selection. I’ll be going back to try some other options.

Salt & Pepper Beef was a huge disappointment. Unless you like balls of salt and oil with minimal beef that’s mostly fatty. My plain lo mein was cold in the middle like it was microwaved. Now I have huge portions of this stuff that I don’t want to eat.

Easily one of the best Chinese spots around. The food comes out hot, flavorful, and clearly made fresh — the Singapore noodles and sesame chicken were both perfectly balanced (not greasy, nor overly sweet). Portions are generous and everything tastes like real home-style cooking, not take-out filler.
Service is quick and friendly, even when they’re busy, and the place feels clean and relaxed — great for dine-in or take-out. You can tell they care about consistency and quality, which is rare these days. Definitely a go-to if you love authentic, well-made Cantonese-style dishes.

I keep wanting to like this place because it’s a local business, but the food quality is very inconsistent and seemingly trending downward. Every beef dish I’ve ordered there has not been good in my opinion, but the chicken dishes were always good. Somehow the white rice is not good, it has the texture and taste of those pre-made rice packets that you put in the microwave. The fried rice is good, though. However, in my most recent visit, I ordered a chicken dish and the chicken was incredibly dry and tough like beef jerky, not even joking, I couldn’t chew several pieces. It also looked dry. To be honest, it seemed like it was leftovers from one or more days prior that didn’t sell and they just repackaged it when I ordered. I’m not even picky about food, but I’d be embarrassed if I recommend this restaurant to someone and they received a dish as bad as that chicken was. The cheese wontons were also odd, pretty dry and the filling had an unappetizing greenish yellow tint, a color I have never seen in a cheese wonton before. Unfortunately, I’ve run out of times trying this place hoping that it’s good. I hope they become more consistently edible because I want them to thrive as a local business (and I feel like that’s a pretty low standard to meet).

Authentic Chinese food with an American price! The food overall was fantastic and the serving sizes were massive. Definitely left with a full belly… but empty pocket. The Thai iced tea was phenomenal, but was pricey! Would go back, but would split a dish or go for lunch. Their lunch deals are great and half the price.

This was the best Chinese food I’ve ever had, and I wish they had one here in SA.
The place is super cute, and decorated all over. The staff is very attentive, and friendly. The beef and broccoli is always my go too, and it was scrumptious! So much flavor in the sauce, with lean beef pieces, and a delicious rangoon! The green curry was also good (from what I was told). The food portions were perfect. I left completely satisfied!

Don’t let the outside fool you. This place is super cute inside. It’s not very big, though. I ordered the Orange Chicken lunch special, and it was delicious. The only thing is that the orange sauce was a bit too sweet for me, but it was still tasty. The chicken was crispy and lightly breaded as described. Big portions.
I work a block away from them, and my coworkers go there all the time and only have good things to say.
8/25/25 UPDATE: I’m not sure what’s been going on lately but the last three orders haven’t been good at all. The rice tasted old and the sesame chicken didn’t taste like sesame chicken. I ordered right after they opened so I’m thinking maybe the food wasn’t fresh or was from the day before. It’s kind of disappointing because it’s such a cute little place and the food used to be really good.

Hidden gem in the Capitol Hill area. They have a large menu, and I got the Tomato Beef — it was a generous portion and tasted just like what I grew up eating in Canton. You can also tell the ingredients are very fresh. Great spot for a quick Chinese bite.

Huge portions. Gigantic portions. Comically large portions. Like, you think this might be a practical joke… But it’s not. Not. It’s just how much food they serve you. Had a great time. Will definitely be back.
