Something told me to walk out but I just feel bad when a restaurant has already prepared my meal. I don’t want to be wasteful so I thought, why not. The place seemed dirty in the back, the cook was also handling the money and orders. She had no gloves and that was already alarming. Where she was cooking looked cluttered and just run down/old. I tried not to judge a book by its cover so, against my better judgment, I paid and left. Now I’ve been having a bad feeling about this food but like I said, I already spent my money. My 7year old daughter and I ate it, 5 minutes later, she runs to bathroom saying she needs to do number 2. She comes in my bathroom to tell me that the food made her stomach hurt as I’m in the bathroom doing the same thing. Now it’s coming out like water and I’m pretty upset. My daughter is face down on the couch with no tv, just trying to feel better. My poor baby. Needless to say, I won’t be back and if you don’t want food poisoning, I’d avoid this place if I were you. The sesame chicken has absolutely no favor. The chicken was big had a weird shape to it, the eggrolls weren’t bad but had a grainy aftertaste to it. The egg rolls were the only reason I gave it two stars. I feel like I’ll be in the bathroom majority of tonight.

WOW!!! What a nice surprise. The food portions are ginormous and fresh. I order the Mongolian beef and let me tell you, delicious. My wife ordered the Egg drop soup, and OH MY was it fantastic. AND we ordered the Pork Fried rice, again ON POINT. Well done China Wok. You’ll see us again. Thank you.

So I could make this review, so nobody would go through what I went through.
I talked this place up so much and told my friends from out of town best general tso’s in the Valley.
I knew when I opened the styrofoam container.
That something was off.
The pieces of chicken were really big, and the sauce was different.
Not sure how they made their sauce, but it tasted almost like a barbecue sauce. Not good at all. I always try to support a mom and pop’s operation.
But I will never go back there.The food was not good. Not sure why they would changed the menu. So sorry don’t think they will be open too long.
Please bring back the old owners.

China Wok is an absolute gem! This small, family-owned restaurant has been one of my favorite spots for years, and I’m so happy they’ve relocated to their new place — it’s just as warm and welcoming as ever. The service is always friendly and fast, and you can tell they truly care about their customers.
Their menu has all the classics you’d hope for, and everything is consistently delicious — fresh, flavorful, and made with care. I also love how convenient their hours are; they always seem to be open when I need them most!

They are the real deal . If you are from the East Coast you will be very happy with their food. Mike gives great service and the food and sauces are incredible. Happy to have a spot in Phoenix.

Food was delicious! I got the orange chicken and my partner the mongolion beef. The beef was super flavorful, the orange chicken had good pieces of chicken inside the batter, and the crab puffs were good too! Will get again!

A HIDDEN GEM(for takeout)! The reviews on this place are decent but let me tellll you— you get WAY more bang for your buck here and the food was very fresh tasting and good quality. I ordered the Szechwan Shrimp and my husband ordered the general tso chicken and everything was delicious. The egg rolls were OK but the large size egg drop soup made up for it. I will most definitely be coming back next time.

What a great little Chinese food place! This little hole in the wall, (I mean that with the most respect), it’s small but the owner is very friendly and helpful! More of a fast food dive than a sit down restaurant. The soup tasted odd but the entrees were tasty. I worry a bit about the cleanliness. Sadly there is no tea or any kind.
