While mgnt was very nice. The buffet was poor. The egg drop soup had a smell to it like dirty dishwater. The buffet line was not hot at all. Disposable dishware helps to keep prices low. But quality of the food was weary. The ice even had a smell. Water quality could be the culprit.

This is a very relaxed, casual little restaurant that has been our favorite year after year. We are two old folks who like different things, so we always each have the luncheon buffet and a drink. We go early, early and are there by 11 AM, generally the first in line. He has chicken, while I have beef. The food is always fresh, simply cooked and delightful. Everyone there is friendly and welcoming. These folks have our highest recommendation.

I ate here for their lunch buffet last week during a work day. The lunch buffet is small with the usual Chinese food which were delicious. Their lunch buffet was about $10.69 which isn’t too bad. The staff was friendly.

They mostly do takeout, but there’s a small but scrumptious little lunch buffet open weekdays 11am-2pm for $10.99 (not incl. drink). Refill your own drink, which I find uncommon but better, since you can choose what you want at each refill.
As for the food, all of it is consistently fresh and just as tasty as takeout. Choices are limited, though. The service is phenomenal! Very “mom & pop” feel, with the two owners running the whole thing. Buffet out of something you want? Just ask and they’ll make a fresh batch fast!
The desserts leave a lot to be desired, though. Assorted hard candies, stale cookies and cookie-like treats, warm orange slices… The fried donuts aren’t bad though! The place itself is also very plain, and the air conditioning runs warm – especially in the bathroom.

I DO NOT recommend this dump to anyone! This was my first time trying them, because I saw they had a 3.8 star rating on here.They had horrible Customer service and the food looked disgusting, the whole order was wrong! I ordered butterfly shrimp with shrimp fried rice with no peas and carrot. When I asked for a refund all of a sudden they don’t give refunds and he started yelling and being belligerent, which was extremely unprofessional! I started to throw that food back in their faces, but I regained my composure and politely left with the dignity I came there with.

We’re regulars now! I live right around the corner & couldn’t be more thankful to have found this lil spot. The workers are so nice. I’ve been in Baton Rouge for about 4 years now & couldn’t find a spot like my go-to back at home. Now I have. The price is right & the amount of food is even better. This is the hidden gem I’ve been looking for (This is orange chicken with combination rice)

Well this place is a little hidden of the road in the back corner of the Drusilla shopping center. It has a pretty good deal for a lunch buffet. At $6.95 it’s and pretty good deal a drink is extra. Maybe it was because I went in at 130pm but there wasn’t make of a selection but was there was really good. The staff wasn’t really helpful but with a buffet they don’t have to be. I want to stop back by for dinner time and just order and regular item because the food was cooked well just wanted more choices for a buffet. I will give an updated review after I go for dinner. Try this place the prices are good

First time writing a review about this place, my daughter turned me on to this restaurant, possibly about five years ago. I understand some people may have a bad experiences that’s everywhere for me. My experience there have been awesome. One thing I can say about this restaurant when calling in an order you will be getting freshly cooked food. That’s a plus for me I love the way it taste. the chicken on a steak taste better than anybody else chicken on a stick I have tasted , the lo mein combination hands-down I love eating there. I highly recommend.

They were friendly which is a plus. I went on lunch for the 1st time and I probably won’t return. Food wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t good. Temperature wasn’t good and it didn’t seem fresh. Then…. I didn’t even have a fortune in my cookie , which is not their fault….
