We ordered early today (Tuesday) and picked up before noon. The chicken and mixed vegetables was hot and fresh. The fried noodles for the soup and the crab Rangoon were both inedible. My guess, because it was a stark observation of both the fried items, is that the noodles were fried and the rangoons were prepped sometime
Prior to Monday, the day when they are closed, and we were one of the first orders when they reopened. The fried wonton skin for both tasted off, and the crab filling had a bad taste. I’m sure I’ve had both there before at some point and they weren’t like this. These were unfortunately inedible.

This was my second time ordering take out here. Last time was over a year ago and I can’t remember why I don’t get my food from here. It was the rice for sure.
Ordering online was very convenient and easy. My food was ready and hot within the estimated time frame. I entered the store paid for my food and left with my order. My order was correct and pickup was error free.
The food is what brings it down to two stars. I ordered the chicken and broccoli combination. I was having something to eat before I went out for the evening. The fried rice was bland and no veggies which made it just colored white rice. It seems like I got the bottom of the rice and it had a big clump in it of hard mushed rice. The icing on the cake was as I was chewing, I discovered a big piece of plastic cooked with the food. It was not appetizing as I pulled it from my mouth. As I was digging, I found more pieces of plastic chopped in my food. Very concerning.
I closed the container because my appetite was ruined and I had to head out for the evening.
Please beware of the quality of your meal before consumption. I would not recommend.

Food was really good. Forgot to take a pic. Order the double meats special (honey chicken and shrimp and broccoli with the best pork fried rice).
Jan. 17, 2019 visit Double Meats special Sweet and sour chicken, shrimp and broccoli, and pork fried rice. Good.
Feb. 6, 2019 House Special Shrimp w/ plain fried rice. Guys this was AWESOME… knock on wood.
April 16, 2019 order the Mandarin Chicken w/ Shrimp fried rice. I know I say it alot… but it was AWESOME. Chicken was white meat fried to perfection and the brown sauce is good. I actually put some one the rice instead of soy sauce.

Mandarin Chicken -Upset and Disappointed with my Lunch! It was a waste of my money. The Chicken was hard and dry underneath the batter and the noodles were hard as well.

This is a shame as this place use to have quality food. The Lo Mien with which ever protein you order had mushrooms, shallots, cabbage etc. Now its just noodles with chicken, over cooked noodles. The taste is even worse, save your money and go to Walmart and buy the noodles that you add hot water to, those taste way better and so much cheaper. This place was a step above a few years ago. This is made worse by the attitude of the young woman that answers the phone and tends the register. She has that I don’t give a F manner about her. Im aggravated bc I always tip a decent amount even on carry out. If you are going to lower your quality and not the price, the least you can do smile or act like you care. There are way better options for Chinese food including the frozen food isle at Walmart.

It’s extremely cheap and a good variety. Lots of food and all you can eat buffet for 5ish bucks. Sesame chicken could use a little work but over all its really good.

So delicious!! The chef in this small family restaurant is HIGHLY talented and made my Singapore Noodles and Pork Fried Rice to PERFECTION. Tasty to the last bite. Generous portion size and no skimping of any ingredient. I highly recommend. As good as any of the places I’ve dined at in Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau, and multicultural cities like Sydney, Australia. This was up there with the best I’ve ever had. Will be back when I’m next in town. Thank you to the kind, friendly, folks at China Wok!

The food is cooked after you order it. The portions are very large and more than enough. I ordered sweet tea but it didn’t taste as good as I expected, not that bad

I believe this is the best Chinese food in Baton Rouge. It’s a takeout place, but the food has always been fantastic, with large portions and a very reasonable price. My favorite Chinese place to go!
