This has to be some of the worst food I ever ate. I’m not a local in that area. I live in Saint Charles Parish. I always get my food from Hong Kong in Ormond. It is the best I have been going there ever since they opened. It’s a wonderful family that runs the business. The food is always excellent. I have eaten other places and sometimes I have complaints but this place was said to be China walk. That is the best place to get Chinese in Hammond people from Hammond y’all don’t know what good Chinese food is. The noodles were hard. The vegetables look like they were rotten and they were not very friendly and for what I paid, I expected more.

I’ve been ordering from China Wok for years. The food is consistent and always ready in about ten minutes. The food is super affordable and have good portion sizes. Nowadays, I exclusively order my food to go because they closed the dining area down during Covid and it hasn’t really opened up for indoor dining.
I usually order a dinner combo (comes with entre, rice, and an egg roll) and a small soup. I like their chicken and broccoli, beef and broccoli, and sesame chicken. I like that they are open later than other Asian places in town so when I’m craving Chinese food I can order from here.

I didn’t know when you order sweet n sour chicken you need to specify you want sweet n sour sauce with the fried chicken. Literally had zero sauce on it.
And the boneless chicken dinner is just chicken soaked in soy sauce. Was our first time visiting and Will not be back.

Even if that was the case, I was not given any sauce on the side. FYI your menu online presents zero pictures. Please excuse me for not looking online for pictures of basic sweet n sour chicken that all Chinese restaurants provide WITH sauce.

Food is horrible. I just ordered General Tsao, white meat. What I received looks nothing like the picture on the website. Chicken was hard, can barely bite into it. Chicken didn’t seem to be fresh. Seems as though it was old Chicken that was reheated. I spent $36. This will be my first and last time purchasing from this restaurant.

The food is always good and so is the service. I go in around closing time (not on purpose, it just happens) and they never show it if they are annoyed or not. You get a lot for the price, super cheap eat. Always my go to Chinese place.

I have literally been coming to this small take out for well over 10 years. In all that time, every single order has been perfectly made, the food was always tasty and consistently made each time without fail, the cashier always friendly, and the food is always ready in 10 minutes or less. I only give ‘Atmosphere’ a 3 because it is a small shop with only a few tables. It’s not really designed for sitting in to eat but the food itself is what is the best and that is what certainly counts.

Just got dinner for the wife and i after a long day at work the food was heavenly!
The place had a ton of people (which goes to show you how in demand it is) and they were able to cook the food and clear the whole building in about 20 minutes very impressive!!
Place has been here forever and they’ll always be my go to for some great take out 1000/10 if you are looking for some good Chinese food on the go I wouldn’t recommend anyone else!
