Idk what kind of rice it was but it definitely wasn’t traditional Chinese takeout fried rice. It was cooked OK, but it was bland. Noonions or carrots or peas or Anything you traditionally find in Chinese fried rice not to mention the grain itself was off.
The general says chicken was tender, but lacking in flavor and spice.
The eggrolls were entirely too greasy. You could squeeze them in grease with drip couldn’t eat them..
Overall, pretty disappointing!!!!

Ordered uber eats and was horribly disappointed! I ordered chicken Mai fun- as soon as I opened the bag, I smelled burning. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and tasted it… that was a big mistake. The noodles were dry and blackened pieces were mixed all in there making the entire dish inedible. My son got sweet and sour chicken and it was drowning in grease.

TLDR: I ate actual plastic.
*If you’re near this stripmall, I strongly recommend either the the Greek or Mexican places, respectively Gyro & Philly Steak and Las Fajitas.*
After eating previously at these, China Wok was extra, extra disappointing.
Back to the plastic:
1. I found burned black plastic in my food after I’d already eaten a portion. (I should have said something but was tired, so we just left.) It had tasted off but I kept eating until I realised that what I was tasting was the infusion of plastic into my sesame chicken and fried rice. (Later I settled on Play-Doh–it tasted how Play-doh smells, for future reference.)
2. There were several other disappointments: order wasn’t served as pictured—with broccoli instead of rice (first point where I should have spoke up). My husband’s order of the same tasted gamey (but no plastic). Both servings of chicken were mostly breading. Further service was nonexistant after recieving food. The restroom looked to have been out of service for some time, with faded signs.

Overall, the atmosphere is clean. However, you cannot put tissue into the toilet, and the urinal was broken.
The food is competitively priced, but the quality is lacking. I ordered the bourbon chicken lunch and a chicken on a stick. The bourbon chicken was overcooked and dry, and the chicken on a stick was severely burnt. I took the chicken on a stick back, and they happily provided me with a sesame chicken substitute. Unfortunately, the sesame chicken was rubbery and not cooked thoroughly on the inside. I’m not sure if it was even real chicken, as it seemed very processed.

That is not fried rice . That’s is the microwave brown rice . I don’t like it . Call and said something to the lady . She got smart so I just left it alone . I will never go back . But my chicken was really fresh and good . But that rice is horrible

Wish I read reviews before ordering. Rangoons burned fried rice burned beef and broccoli okay, egg rolls burned and GREASY almost whole 45 dollar order uneatable. Disappointed not even the word. Never again.

We loved China 1. But someone this off here. The sesame chicken is off. The fried rice is definitely off. The sweet and sour was decent. The egg roll was too. I’m not sure what changed with the recipe do sesame, but I assume they were all essentially the same. They are clearly not. For what we paid, it was not worth it.

Went in with a friend on Saturday, January 18, 2025, in the evening. I ordered my usual Sesame Chicken, Shrimp fried rice, and Egg Drop soup. For some reason, they made the sesame chicken, but added the sesame at last minute. You’re supposed to add that when cooking the chicken into the sauce.
My shrimp fried rice turned out to be Lo Mein Noodles. Seriously, I don’t how you can screw that up. Oh, and my egg drop soup, I don’t know if it was made correctly, but I got sick after.
No. 1 Chinese was way better than China Wok at this location. They never once messed up my orders when I walked in. I will be requesting my money back as I was not satisfied, and this location has also lost my business.
If you go here, be prepared to get your money back, or just don’t go. Period.
