A Quick and Delicious Stop at China Wok in Florida

I recently stopped by China Wok in Florida for a quick lunch during my vacation, and I was impressed with the flavors and service. Here’s my experience:

– Bourbon Chicken: The star of my meal was the Bourbon Chicken, which was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The bourbon sauce added a rich, slightly sweet taste that complemented the chicken perfectly.

– Pork Fried Rice: The side of pork fried rice was cooked just right, with a nice balance of vegetables and savory flavors.

What to Expect:

– Variety of Options: China Wok offers a wide range of Chinese dishes, from classic favorites like Kung Pao Chicken and Moo Goo Gai Pan to other options like Curry Beef and Vegetable Delight.

– Quick Service: As a quick stop for lunch, China Wok delivered efficient service, getting my order out promptly.

Potential Improvements:

– Consistency: Some reviews mention inconsistent experiences with China Wok locations in Florida, so your experience may vary depending on the location.

Overall, my experience at China Wok in Florida was satisfying, and I’d consider stopping by again for a quick and tasty meal

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at China Wok, 1/24/2026. The food was Fresh, Flavorful, and Perfectly Prepared, and every dish the group had was a Hit. The service was just as impressive: Friendly, Attentive, and Fast without ever feeling rushed. What truly made the afternoon was the Owner personally coming out to greet us, and made sure everything was perfect. That level of hospitality made me feel genuinely welcome and appreciated. You can tell they take pride in both their food and their Customers. My family and I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to everyone we know! Thank You Military Service Members.

I stopped here for the first time the other night for a quick meal after work, and decide to get my go-to order for determining if I like a Chinese Food place, some Egg Rolls and some Hot and Sour Soup, and let me tell you, if you like Spicy, this is the place for you! I had to leave a review, even though I very very rarely do so!

I’ve had a ton of trouble finding a place in the various areas of Brevard I’ve lived in to find a place that makes their spicy dishes actually spicy, even with significant cajoling and promises that I won’t be upset if it’s too spicy, but that’s a worry of the past here! Not only was just the base soup actually satisfyingly spicy, I was assured by the owner that he had no problem adjusting spiciness in any of his dishes!

I can’t wait to come back and try a proper entrée and get some more of that delicious Hot and Sour Soup! The Egg Rolls were excellent too, and the owner was so nice, and they even have a little candy bowl with delicious asian candies free for the customers!

Definitely give China Wok in PSJ a shot when you’re around the area!

The review below me is false and should be reported for straight up lying. We have been going to this place for years and they have always exceeded our expectations. And if there is ever a problem they are so understanding and will fix it for you. Wonderful food, wonderful service, and wonderful price! Thank you for the great food!

I’ve gone to this China Wok for years and years and it’s extremely consistent, which is probably one of my all time favorite things about it! Same guy working there with his family, same wait time (always 15mins, and they mean 15mins when they say 15mins!), same hot, tasty straight out of the wok or fryer food at pickup, with over stuffed containers so you know you’ll have a few days worth of dinner! This is a gem of a place that I always stop at at least once while visiting relatives in the area✌️!
The Fried Rice, Lo Mein, Krab Rangoon and Beef & Broccoli are all delicious from experience!!!
The Lo Mein pictured is their Lrg House Special Lo Mein and what’s on the plate is barely taking the top off of what was stuffed in that container, like I said, food for a few meals.

The gentleman was friendly enough and went as quickly as he could to take the order, prepare the food, and get it to me. The lobby/restaurant was a bit minimal and bare, compared to what I am normally used to. The steamed dumplings were pretty good. The General Tso’s chicken was a letdown, in my opinion. It had a strange flavor that I wasn’t overly fond of, that I have never tasted in that type of dish before… please realize that General Tso’s Chicken is one of my 3 main go to Asian dishes, when it comes to typical generic Asian themed restaurants. I really wish that I had tried one of the other two that day. Perhaps, it is just a matter of personal flavor preference, but the chicken left a bad taste in my mouth, both literally and figuratively.

I walked in and picked up only a quart of “special fried rice”. My feelings are that before I spend $60 ot $80 on a full dinner, we always try the rice first. How hard is it to screw up fried rice? We are not from this area and it was a test. They failed the test.

In all honesty, it wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t good or great either. It was just blahhh, bland, relatively lacking in identifiable fried rice flavors. It had less than moderate amount of mixed meats.

My husband always uses soy sauce on his fried rice. I never use soy sauce on well flavored fried rice. Mainly because I avoid excess dodium. I found the need, after a few bites, to dump 3 packets of soy sauce all over it. It didn’t help.

I won’t even waste another $13 – plus to give them a 2nd shot.

The employee (or owner) was attentive and courteous, hence the service rating.

It is take out only, and has seating to accommodate several customers waiting to pick up orders. It wasn’t fancy. It is just a storefront take out shop.
