Wonton soup, deep rich flavor. Seems like a beef broth, instead of chicken stock, but great flavor. Egg roll, full size, crunchy, crispy and full of flavor. Sweet snd sour chicken, NO SAUCE, showcased the crispy, golden white meat pieces, cooked to perfection! Chicken fried rice. It was simple, but flavorful.
Overall, great first time here, and I’ll be back!

I ordered the general Tso lunch combo and specifically requested EXTRA extra spicy and boy howdy they delivered <3
It’s perfectly spicy!

And the house made hot mustard is PERFECT!

Let me start by saying this: China Wok in Ladson, SC owes me an apology, a refund, and possibly emotional compensation.
I walked in and was greeted by the counter lady with an attitude so strong it could’ve slapped me from across the room. She acted like me placing an order ruined her entire week. She took my order with the enthusiasm of someone being forced to work against their will, turned to talk to the cook, and then had the nerve to ask me AGAIN if I wanted to order.
Ma’am… I literally just handed you my money. Please keep up.
When I said I was waiting on my food, she hit me with the nastiest “10–20 minutes,” as if my presence in the building was stressing her spirit. The energy was basically: “Stop looking at us cook and disappear.”
Now the food? Oh, buckle up.
The chicken was dry, greasy, and tasted like it had been reheated since last Tuesday. The rib tips from the lunch special? Fatty, syrupy, and questionable enough to make me look around and make sure I was still on planet Earth. The pork fried rice had zero flavor — I’ve tasted more seasoning on plain white air.
And the egg roll? The way she THREW it in the grease… I’m convinced it either hit the floor on the way in or wished it had. It tasted like abandonment and regret.
One star across the board.
If I could give negative stars, I would break the scale.
China Wok, do better. This was not a meal — this was a warning.

If I went solely off of reviews I never would’ve went here. The customer service wasn’t 5 stars but it wasn’t 1 star either. There was nothing about my interaction that made me uncomfortable or offended. I waited until I got home to say the food is good, and even better because they stay open late. Idk if they’re making adjustments to this location based off of these reviews but I have 0 complaints. I ordered hot and sour soup, steamed dumplings, and 2 spring rolls

Im not sure how a Chinese restaurant can fail at making shrimp fried rice. The chicken wings are not like the typical wings at the majority of the chinese restaurants across the country. The meal was a complete fail. Fries were good, and ribs were OK.

I very rarely order fast food or take out and the one time I do, I find a bug in my food. I wouldn’t have even been mad if it was a fruit fly but this…. This is unacceptable. I don’t even know what this is but it looks like a beetle like bug. Take from this review what you will folks….. do not order from here.

Tried to place an order for pick-up and was asked to start speaking and then completely ignored and asked to repeat myself. Not even would you mind repeating that. Then after repeating myself and trying to order was told I needed to bring cash because the machine was down. Why not say that to begin with? Also why not just ask me to hold? Wouldn’t know if the food was good because I was over it by that point.
