Never had any issues with this place before until now and I wouldn’t even say it’s an issue. The egg roll seems like it was cooked way too long so it’s super hard to bite into. Theirs some pieces of the chicken where it was too chewy. Other then That the food is great. I would say the building seems to need air conditioning. They had the door open up but with it being a kitchen in there it seems like they need actual air conditioning. Keep up the good work!!

We always order the same thing- Chow Mei Fun and Garlic Chicken with broccoli. It’s always consistently good and portions are big enough for leftovers! They’re also fast- food is always ready when I get there. It’s a solid takeout Chinese restaurant, pretty typical of what you would expect.

Obscenely over priced. Before you order from here check their menu for prices. I was recently charged $11 for an order of Steamed Broccoli. They charge $17.95 for small order of Moo Goo Gai Pan that I can get for $8.99 at two other local take outs where the food is equally as good or better. The place is run down and unappealing as well.

Love the food! Excellent veggie fried rice and pepper steak. But I really love their egg rolls. The service is fantastic, and very quick! We like to eat here when we.want something quick that is not fast food. I have never had a bad meal here. This is a hidden gem for Chinese takeout.

Fantastic food and such a wholesome and sweet family. We loved learning to play a game with them while waiting for our food to be cooked. The food was made super quick, but we stayed to play with them for a few games. They were so sweet and kind, and we definitely plan to go back!

Against my better judgment, I ordered from here yet again. 10.25 per box of fried rice is excessive.
$18 for a combination meal.
I’m over it, I can’t justify the low quality, lack of vegetables and flavor for over Americanized bland food any longer.

The customer service is fantastic. The food has always been great as expected. Small dining area, still a nice place to eat.

Finally, a really good Chinese takeout spot in Asheville. We enjoyed some big ol’ crispy egg rolls, excellent shrimp fried rice, and some really hearty, saucy beef & broccoli. Can’t wait to come back!

They’ve gotten pretty darn inconsistent.
We always order the same thing (the Singapore chow mei fun). This time, there was hardly any curry. You can see from the lightness of the noodles on the photo. Also it wasn’t spicy at all. Sometimes there’s far too much curry. Sometimes the curry isn’t even stirred into it and it’s just left in big clumps.
Also please note that my son ordered the sweet-and-sour chicken without the sweet-and-sour sauce, and you can see from this photo how overly breaded and fried the chicken is. When the chicken is in the sauce it has a lot more opportunity to hide how over-breaded it is, but without the sauce, you can see that it’s really over-fried and has a lot of batter.
This used to be our go-to place, for years and years and years, but recently they increased the prices; my Singapore chow mei fun was almost $19. And I understand when prices went up after Covid, but if you’re going to charge $19, I’d like to have a little bit more consistency with the quality. I am fine paying $19 for good Singapore chow mei fun that is correctly spiced, but not when sometimes it’s overspiced, sometimes it’s underspiced, sometimes the spice is clumped and sometimes there’s hardly any spice at all.
We want to like this restaurant again! We want to go back. We live nearby and we want to make this our regular to-go Chinese restaurant. So I hope that if the owners are reading this, they will take this as constructive criticism and examine the consistency of their dishes. Also, the sweet-and-sour chicken could do with less breading and more chicken.
Said with hopes of improvement!

We just got sesame chicken and general Tso chicken and it is great. The portions are large and the chicken and fried rice are both tasty. I also like how they use recyclable plastic containers and paper bag instead of styrofoam. I recommend the combos because they come with egg roll and canned drink. I also recommend getting some mustard sauce on the side. This is the perfect place to get a good value Chinese takeout fix!
