Absolutely fantastic! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The portions were generous, and the service was fast and friendly. The fried rice and orange chicken were some of the best I’ve ever had. Definitely my new go-to Chinese spot

This place has gone down hill. Used to be my family’s favorite. When we got our food this time, it was the quality of frozen Chinese food in the grocery store. Egg rolls were literally like the kind you buy in the freezer section and the chicken was barely there in the giant hunks of fried batter. So many peas and carrots in the rice and the dumplings had no flavor with the filling having a rubber-like texture. Again… you can get ones that are better tasting and quality in the grocery store for a fraction of the price. I understand costs have gone up but the quality is absolutely horrible now. Save your money and go elsewhere.

It used to be great food..but something has changed. The Gen.Tsos chicken was not fresh and stringy ?
Broccoli uncooked..the steamed dumplings had a different filling that wasn’t tasty.

The food is AMAZING!! Good value, large portion, great flavor. They have a wide variety of food and treat their customers super friendly. The home-made chili sauce and the tofu is the best I had so far in the states. I would definitely come back again. Thumbs up

I’ve eaten here quite a few times over the last decade+ of living in Roanoke and I’ve never been disappointed, but after trying a few other places and coming back to China Wok on a whim I gotta say it hits just right.
The food is a traditional American-Chinese takeout with affordable food that, for me, delivers on every dish I’ve eaten. They’re in a tiny lot that kind of makes getting in and out difficult, but honestly the food more than makes up for it. Highly recommended if you’re looking for what your brain thinks of when it imagines “Chinese takeout.”
