We got general tso’s chicken and hunan shrimp. The general’s chicken was the strangest tasting general tso’s I have ever tasted. Was not bad, but it sure was not good. We asked for it extra crispy, and that didn’t happen. The hunan had a good flavor, but the sauce was not at all thick.
We won’t be coming back here with better options in Shrewsbury.

Three stars was a reach for this review. I would say over all taste was below average this time. Probably won’t be back. Like another reviewer said, Shrewsbury has better options. Shame, I used to like this place. No customers were there on a Saturday night at 6:30 pm. A big flag for me.
Felt like I was being served from a Chinese restaurant in a very bad high crime section of a large city. Food was passed through a little window along with the receipt to sign. I guess I should carry my firearm next time to protect myself entering and leaving this location.
Good luck.

They are the only place in SYC that had good Chinese. I recommend it! They are really nice and get my order right every time. Here are photos of the menu since I couldn’t find one online.

The menu is strictly what you’d expect from a bare- bones take out Chinese restaurant, but I wasn’t impressed even with that in mind. The food is pretty mediocre; the ingredients didn’t seem particularly fresh, plentiful, or beyond low quality and everything we ordered was really, really bland. I spent over $50 on my order, plus tip (should’ve skipped that since there was literally no service involved), and I was really disappointed with everything. My order was incorrect, and I didn’t catch it until I was home, so shame on me.
The thing that REALLY bothered me though is the actual restaurant. It’s so run-down, poorly lit, and everything looks dirty, old, and/or depressing. To state the obvious: I don’t even want to think about the kitchen. I saw about 15 health code violations just standing there, not kidding.
There’s no way I’d sit down to eat (in fact, I don’t know if there was even a table in the place). The atmosphere of the place reminded me of a sketchy convenience store, complete with a fully enclosed counter area with sliding window (which of course was disgustingly dirty, too). I don’t understand the good reviews for this place, other than they’ve got a captive audience with Stewartstown and its limited dining options. Next time? No thanks, I don’t mind driving farther for better food and a cleaner establishment.

We went to this place when it opened years ago, it is nowhere the same place. We used to go once a week. Today was our last day. The food was Terrible! Fried rice was dry and the wonton soup was tasteless. The sauce was not the same as it was when they first opened. My wife threw hers away. We gave the rest to our teenage grandsons. They eat anything. All in All this will be the last trip to one our favorite places. It is just not the same or worth going.

Nice little carryout spot tucked away by the railroad tracks. Nice family they have really good wonton soup. Curry dishes and lomein are favorites and they have the authentic old school red roast pork. Best Chinese in the area

Great quality food, workers are very nice and atmosphere is small but always clean and accommodates its purpose.

Chicken chow mein was not what was expected at all. No noodles just very small amount of chicken and lots of cabbage onions and celery. Not bad just not what was expected at all. Crab Rangoon are pretty good from past experience. Pork fried rice is standard. General tsos is basic.
Edit to keep track of what we’ve tried and like. 7/24/25
House special wonton soup the broth and veg were great for my husband. But he hated the actual wonton. I wasn’t a fan.
Beef mei fun is yummy very little meat but a great side. Noodles were cooked perfectly
Hot and spicy beef is okay.. lots of veg and the beef was tender but not a ton of it. the sauce was not spicy but still good.
Pork fried rice is better than the crab fried rice.

Stopped in on lunch for a sweet and sour chicken lunch combo and 2 shrimp egg rolls. Perfect from first bite until the last. Shrimp egg rolls were some of the best I’ve ever eaten!
