So the food was actually authentic and pretty good. I mean, yes it’s Chinese. NO IT IS NOT MEXICAN. lol unless you ask for the Mexican menu. Outside there restraunt it says Mexican/ Chinese. You go in and the waiter gives you Chinese only menu. But that really through me off. Had me kinda irritated. Since it said one thing on there board but it was false advertising. Anyways, back to the food. The egg rolls so yummy, the orange chicken, was authentic and rice. Very good. Food was good. Service was okay, the waiter seemed upset and bothered. But a little smile would of did him a long way snd I’m sure it would help with the tips too

So I walked in for my very first time and ordered chicken subgum chow mein. Which had zucchini in it. Never had it with zucchini before but it was goid. As I waited for my to go irder over by the cash register on the floor was one of those red temples and on plates there were apples and orange. This was on the floor. The orange was completely molded all the way around. After I saw that I thought this place is not clean and I started thinking about my food being prepped. My order came out and when I got home and opened the bag it was in a styro foam container so the sauce spilled into the bag and soaked my fortune cookie that was not in plastic. The server was friendly but they need to pick up the moldy orange and use fortune cookies that are wrapped and use chinese containers. Its all about cleanliness and care and taking extra steps. Oh and don’t put zucchini.

I fell in love with their deep fried pot stickers. What is that sweet sauce they serve with it. It was so yummy. I’m glad my bestie made me try one. Before you know it, they were gone. Always great dinner combo’s and appetizers.

Tried this place and was left underwhelmed. The moo shu pork was mostly egg and came out dry. There wasn’t much flavor or texture to speak of. The fried pork wontons were almost entirely breading with hardly any filling. The egg rolls were mushy and didn’t have the crunch you’d hope for. Overall, the meal didn’t justify the price given the small portions and unimpressive quality. I wouldn’t order again.

I was disappointed by my experience at China West. The food was terrible. Mongolian Beef was mostly vegatables, I had like 3 bites with meat. The chow mien was disgusting. Big portion of flavorless food. The place makes NO SUBSTUTIONS for anything on the menu. Very frustrating.

Well…it is a cute place, quick service however, when my tea came, my cup was dirty! At first, I thought it’s old and stained. I wish! I showed it to my Mom, who was having lunch with me, she grimaced. I finally dampened the tip of my finger and swiped the very bottom of the mark…it wiped right off, no scrubbing needed. The server brought a new cup, but from that moment it was hard to not wonder what might be on the dinner plates under the food. I ate a part of my lunch, the pork chowmein with soft noodles at a 3 star, were good. The pork fried rice was very bland, but I took it home, under my chowmein and it was better.

Food took a long time, nothing came out at the same time. when we asked about our chow mein he told us the cook just arrived and asked if we still wanted it. Egg drop soup to go was under cooked. Only had 1 server on restaurant side. Food ended up upsetting my wifes stomach landing her in the restroom all night. No music only loud noises from the bar down the hallway. Not recommended.
