Normally I’m not a fan of buffets but China Wall is the exception. The food always tastes quite good. The service is acceptable and the people are pleasant. The prices are average and you can get take out. My wife and I ate there last nite and have made it a regular night out.

I have eaten here many times and the food is tasty, but today I witnessed something no business should ever do. The waitress took an order over the phone while on speaker. My husband and I heard everything, and by everything I mean the order, credit card numbers, expiration date and all. She had a slight attitude for the customer and us, like she didn’t care.
If this is how China Wall has evolved, I am not coming back.

Terrible! I have been here for many meals and looked forward to another visit today. About 6 months since last visit. They no longer offer crab legs on buffet have to order seperate at $7.99 a lb……so i did…after 2 legs i began to question whether they were fresh enough to eat….awful !! Its sad but this place has gone so far down hill I will not be going back. And for some reason the staff acts like they are doing you a favor by taking your order.

It is okay for what it is, a cheap lunch buffet. Half of the dishes taste so similar or the same due to the over use of honey in most of them. If you are eating Chinese because you want a certain flavor or dish, I wouldn’t recommend it, but if you are just hungry and want a cheap meal that isn’t drive-thru, it will serve it’s purpose. I have eaten here twice, thinking the 1st visit not being likable was maybe just a bad day, but after the second visit (months after the first), I realized it was EXACTLY the same unfortunately.

Awful! Dead quiet. No lighting. Hair in food. Gnats in dessert bar. Old food in buffet & fresh food did Not taste right. And this was on a early saturday evening when it should have been busy. Very very disappointed. Not friendly atmosphere and will never go again.

I generally go to Chung Hua which is simply the best food in the valley. On a whim, I went to China Wall once again 7 years later. In 2006 they did not take credit cards. I have lived in town for 12 years. I called in for takeout, ordered 2 orders of fried dumplings and a large chicken fried rice. The woman on the phone immediately called the dumplings fried wonton and I knew I was in trouble. I corrected her, she screamed dumplings and hung up. I arrive 20 mins later, my order of course is not ready. They keep refreshing the buffet yet only 2 old women are eating. I eventually get my order, get home and welcome my meal.
The dumplings are simply not. They are reheated frozen potstickers that even in Pulaski, one can buy in the grocery store. Fried rice bah, the same yellow rice that really cheap joints use. How this place stays in business is beyond me.

I have lived in this town for 13 years and have seen the owners of this place come and go. I have ate at every Chinese place around town. They might not understand English very well but their buffet is the best in South West Virginia.

Waitress was annoyed she had to serve us. Seemed mad even. Food was really bad compared to similar options. Would never go back & suggest you go elsewhere.
