For the most part, the buffet seems to be hot and fresh, they keep it clean and refill items in a timely manner. Food is pretty stinkin’ delicious, try the fried rice with Honey Chicken, and fried sugar donuts for dessert! ❤️

Barely average. Ordered three meals tonight and was extremely disappointed. Got sweet and sour chicken and the sauce had so much vinegar that it was inedible. Second meal was chicken egg foo yung which normally comes with rice and they charged $3.00. The third meal was mixed vegetables and they were mush. The fried rice was bright yellow and has nearly zero seasoning and the egg rolls you could tell had been sitting for a while. I’ll definitely never be back. Hopefully this helps people avoid wasting their time and money.

Pretty good lunch buffet for a reasonable price. (a lot cheaper than Roanoke Chinese buffets!). Lots off variety, including American dishes such as corn pudding, fried potatoes, stuffed green peppers and motzerella cheese sticks in addition to Americanized Chinese dishes, salad bar, and desserts. Service was good and all were friendly! Has an awesome aquarium with baby starfish, but they’re not in the menu! A good place for when you want to get alot to eat that’s a little different.

Enjoyed the lunch buffet with it’s large variety of Chinese and American dishes. There were several very rich and tasty dishes, mostly with cheese such as the favorite imitation crab covered with cheese, the baked potato halves covered with sour cream and cheese, and the cream cheese stuffed mushroom caps. The spring roll was bland, while the egg roll was tasty. Multiple chicken dishes included pineapple chicken, (on the sweet side) chicken in BBQ sauce, (the chicken was very tender but dry even in the tasty sauce) the honey chicken (which could have used a little more flavor). A pork and mushroom dish was presented with tasty mushrooms and sauce, and very tender but flavorless pork slices. The corn pudding would make any southern cook proud, but the sauteed green bean and onions could have stayed in the saute pan longer. The chicken on a skewer and the vegetable lo mein were wonderfully fresh and delicious. I tried to at least sample every dish, but that was impossible. The salad bar was filled with fresh ingredients and the dessert bar held interesting looking treats that I was too full to try any. Service was excellent, as I was seated quickly, served my chosen beverage, and the wait staff checked several times to ensure I was enjoying the food. Plenty of sauces were available at the food bar, but nothing was availabke to put the sauce in, so i was unable to auces. At check out, I asked if there was a senior citizen discount and the gentleman said a dollar off. I told him my senior citizen age. When I got to the car, I noted on the receipt that he had not taken the small discount off of my bill.

I was surprised with this buffet! I had visited before and ordered a la carte and menu items. They were very good. So I tried the Buffet. Very good for the price! Steamed shrimp and mussels with available red sauce, and real HOT mustard mixed, is just awesome. They have what ever you want on the buffet including desserts. Every thing I tried was delicious. For the value here, I must give 5 stars. Try it, when you have some time to relax and enjoy. I added photos instead of listing the many choices, and there are more choices than my photos 🙂

It’s one of my I don’t want to cook today spots. The waiters are not that friendly but I go there to eat and I make my own atmosphere. It serves the purpose in a rush busy day and some of the food is yummy.

I’ve been coming to China Wall since I was a kid. Chinese food is a guilty pleasure! The food has always been amazing, and if I ever want more of something, it’s brought out promptly. Cheap but yummy takeout and a killer buffet! I’m giving four stars because the staff isn’t very friendly. They never have been! But I only go to eat, and I’ll be friendly anyways!

Picked up some chicken and broccoli today at china wall in vinton. The rice had no taste very bland. Tiny little slivers of I guess they call it chicken. Sauce in the food tasted like beef broth. The was the worst Chinese I’ve ever had around town.

My boyfriend took me here for a little brunch date the other day on his break from work. & to my surprise it was the BEST dining/food date I think I’ve EVER been on. The food = FABULOUS. SCRUMPTIOUS. THE BEST. The staff = friendly. The atmosphere = quiet but not silent, decor was so chic & made it feel fun to be there. They have exotic fish aquarium. I could go on and on but, YALL, GO TO THIS PLACE! You WON’T regret it!

If you’re a person of color please do not come here. There were two different waitresses that passed by me, one with blond hair and the other one Hispanic. They passed my table several times, never introduced themselves , just looked at me up and down and took my empty plate. There is a dude right behind me that got here 20 minutes after me and they have already refilled his drink twice while I have been trying to get the waitresses attention by waving them down, looking at them and even putting my cup to the side next to the empty plates so I could get a refill and not once did they give me one. Don’t know their names, nothing. On top of their horrible racist/prejudice service, there were barely any selections for $16.50. I won’t be coming back here, I recommend the buffet on Hershberger. Better service and food selection.
