Wonderful food! I eat a lot of Asian food in the Twin Cities and was excited to try this place in Baldwin with my Mom. The Empress pork is best when freshly made because the crispy fried exterior is perfect before it has a chance to absorb the sauce. I delighted in the perfect vegetables and bright colors of this meal. The sweet and sour sauce is very good. It is a homemade sauce with a nice punchy flavor. The fried rice has a nice deeply caramelized flavor to it— something that comes from a perfected sauce recipe. Enjoyed my birthday here in the humble & quaint surroundings. Affordable & friendly. Yum!

Potentially would’ve gave atmosphere five, but it was a takeout order. Food was excellent. Everything’s tasted fresh and seemed very fresh one of the better Chinese places I’ve ate at in a long time seemed a little pricey, but everything does nowadays.

So happy I stopped here! Legit family restaurant making the dishes that people in the states are accustomed to. I bet if they started doing Jiaozi and baozi they would develop a loyal breakfast to go clientele. Loved my dollar Mongolian beef. Less than 9 bucks before the tip!

The two star rating was for the very kind and friendly young lady that waited on me. I give the food zero stars. I was very disappointed in the food I ordered. Egg roll wrapper was crispy on the outside, raw in the middle. Hot and sour soup was neither hot or sour, it was bland. The cream cheese wontons were good but I prefer a savory filling, theirs are on the sweet side. Finally, the rice was dry and undercooked.

Worst food I’ve had in a long time. Shortly after eating there my stomach was cramping and I spent way to much time in the bathroom. I’ll never eat there again or recommend it to anyone. This place gives Chinese restaurants a bad name. A 1 star rating is 1 to much but I had to put something in!!!
