Super tasty food. Very great value. Left absolutely stuffed! Best egg rolls I’ve had in ages. The beef and broccoli was very well cooked and full of flavour. The fried rice was simple yet delicious.
The sweet and sour sauce was classic and worth the try. Chicken balls were stuffed with chicken and not just breading.
Dining room was clean, quiet and had a lovely atmosphere.
The staff are extremely kind and courteous. The food came fast and they were concerned with our stay and ensured the coffee was topped up and food was good to go.
5 star will go back for sure!

This restaurant has great architecture like Qing dynasty era gate when you enter the restaurant seats but the food was delicious but it was not 100% autentic as chinese restaurants always add a bit of spice to the food to eat. This restaurant would be the best to visit in the spring as they would have a medium number of crowd then.

One of the few locations that serves local P.E.I. ginger ale (see photo) & this restaurant comes highly recommended from the Settlers and newcomers residing the area. It is located minutes from the Summerside Boardwalk. This family owned restaurant is super friendly & has prompt service. Many options to cater to individuals, two people/couples (as indicated by photos), small & large groups!

Service was good. Atmosphere was what you expect. The food was pretty terrible. Honestly the people rating this place high have never eaten anywhere else. Chicken fried rice was bland and sitting in a puddle of water from the flavourless chow mein. The honey garlic spare ribs were so overcooked that I could have used a mini dinner roll to try and make a pulled pork sandwich with it. I’ve never seen frozen egg rolls that were so small. Thank God they serve beer!

We have recently rediscovered China Star they will always be our pick from now on. The service is friendly and wonderful, the takeout is packaged with care. Tonight, through no fault of theirs, we got a dish that we thought was wrong. It turns out that we misunderstood what we ordered. We called to confirm with them and they immediately wanted to replace it. When I told her we were just curious about a sauce, she offered us a different version of it at no cost AND extra egg rolls despite it being our fault for not knowing what the dish offered. They explained the best way to eat it and how to order it right the next time. And there will definitely be a next time. Thank you for being so gracious to our mistake and going the extra mile to make us feel appreciated.

A solid Chinese food place. Given its location, I’d recommend this place. The portion sizes are generous and the taste is decent. The food options are very Americanized Chinese, but if that’s what you’re into this place is a good option!
