Excellent service! Quick and friendly
The food was actually a bit above acceptable lol which was surprising since I only dropped by because I ran out of random coupons for lunch. The fried rice was fresh and the general tao was alright. Definitely not the best but edible. Would actually return if I absolutely have nothing else to eat in the area.

The worst yang chow fired rice I had. Rice was very very soft like almost congee. When I phoned back to complain about it and got the answer that it was japanese rice. Thats it.
P/s: bye bye china star.

I stopped in to order takeout and the man working at the counter immediately started making my order fresh. I got the C18 combo with a side order of chicken balls and everything was hot and delicious. Can’t wait to go back, fantastic food and good size portions!

Great flavor and texture but they are so stingy with the protein portions! I paid $15 for this lunch plate which only had a few super thin slivers of beef and the rest was basically broccoli, onions, and rice. In the picture it may look a little more voluminous than I’m describing but I only got maybe 5 or 6 super small pieces before all that was left were carbs. I swear I ordered broccoli beef with a side of rice not the other way around lol. Only reasons I’m not rating 2 stars is because the place is very clean and the owners are nice. However not worth the price and I most likely won’t return or recommend.

Unfortunately we decided to try this place on new years eve. They warned us that it was going to be busy and orders would be delayed which was greatly appreciated as most places just take the orders and deal with the backlash. Our order was missing items and my wife had to go back to get them as the rest of the food got cold. It was a mixed ride eating half hot and half cold food at the same time. This likely makes my rating less than what it would have been, but rightfully so. I would like to try again when it’s not the busiest night of the year to see what they got.

Was working in the area and popped in for lunch, ordered the sweet and sour lunch special. It came out room temperature at best and the rice was soft and not seasoned. When I told the guy that the rice and chicken was cold he said “I just made it” I should’ve known when my lunch was “ready” in two minutes it was gonna be trash and it was! Never again

This place is underrated. For fast-food Chinese, they are great! There should be a lineup out the door here at lunchtime, but with hardly anyone working in the nearby offices now, they are receiving as many customers as they used to.
When you have a craving for Chinese food at lunch in this area, give them a try.
My personal favourite is their Szechuan chicken. Lunch specials come with fried rice, but you can request steamed white rice instead if you prefer. You could also request noodles, (might have a nominal charge for noodles). All made to order.
The meals are packaged in plastic containers, which can be taken home and reused, (free Tupperware).
Prices are reasonable and a lunch special is more than enough for one person.

Honestly inedible. Takeout was cold by the time we got it home, a whole 1.6km away and was clearly just sitting out when we picked it up. Chicken was disgustingly dry, fried rice was basically rice with soya sauce and a few shredded carrots. The spring rolls had a tablespoon of filling and were just air, everything was soggy and had no flavour.

Save your money lol

Our GO TO for 4 years now. I’m usually very picky but this is the most delicious Chinese food. I usually get the chicken/ Cantonese chow mein, beef broccoli and chicken wings … does not disappoint
