Crab Rangoon came out quickly and very hot and fresh, overall tasty. Not much filling though. Only thing slightly redeeming.
Seriously, don’t waste your time or money here. The owners clearly don’t care in the slightest. They don’t offer any kind of response whatsoever to any reviews, including ones that show FLIES and HAIR in the food, with pictures for proof. They argue with you when you complain about food quality and tell you you’re lying or it’s your fault. This place won’t last much longer.
They bring it out in a takeout container with no silverware. I asked about silverware so the lady points at the wall. I walk around the corner, and it’s a shelf with cardboard boxes of plastic silverware and some sauces.
If you order a cup of water, it’s these tiny 4oz plastic cups that you have to serve yourself from one of those office water dispensers that looks like it’s never even been wiped down in decades. So gross.
Took most of my food home, because the atmosphere is extremely unwelcoming there. Bit into something small, sharp, and rock hard in the chicken. Threw almost the entire order away. Absolutely disgusting.
Sesame chicken was bland, and the rice was very crunchy and flavorless, and there was just a sprinkle of sesame seeds in the middle. Never seen that before.
If you think the food here is good I would seriously hate to see your idea of bad food.

Ordered 6 egg rolls which found out they send no sweet and sour sauce with them. I called and asked if I paid for sauce could they deliver some since driver already left. Was placed on hold while asking manager. Came back to phone with NO.

Ordered some foods and they delivered the wrong food twice. The driver finally showed up the 3rd times with our orders and it was cold and gross. Called them and the owner said she will make fresh new orders and never did.

It’s a shame. This used to be our go-to Chinese takeout but now they have higher prices and much smaller portions, and it doesn’t taste good at all anymore. My chicken the past two times has been either rubbery or super dry and stringy. Needless to say we will not be ordering from here anymore.

If you love Chinese food, then this is the place for you. Best little Chinese restaurant in the area. Yes, there have been some changes in the menu and the restaurant, but they still beat every Chinese restaurant in the area. The buffets in this area have gone downhill for sure. China Star has great food. There’s lots of returning customers who defend this place because we all know it’s way better than the rest in the area. I love their steamed dumplings. I love their sweet n sour shrimp. I love their sweet and sour soup. Go get some today and rejoice at your good find.

Five mins of eating my chicken I find a whole fly stuck and my chicken. and mind you I waited a whole hour just to get this. They were supposed to come pick the entree back up to check but they didn’t so I left a review. After I asked them for a refund they refund me then a day later stole the money back, doesn’t answer the phone for hours. I will never eat here again food is poisoning for sure and not up to quality.

This is a great place to go for Chinese style food. Food is fresh, hot, tasty and they have all the standard options of appetizers, meals and soups. They have some nice lunch time menu deals give any of them a try when you want a nice sized meal… I end up with leftovers.
