We used to order weekly. Im done with this place. I ordered online and both times paid for flats only and fries. First order was not flats and soggy fries, second order was tonight ordered same flats only and fries. Recieved 2 flats and some kinda fried rice. Read your orders. Something has changed with these people. Will not be ordering again.

Wonderful Chinese food! New to area and this is our 4th time ordering here. Each time everything has been consistent & excellent! The Mongolian Bean Curd is my favorite- its a great vegan option. Other places seem to skimp on the tofu and other veggies and you and up with a huge portion of sautéed broccoli and a few slivers tofu, and a tiny teaspoon of other vegetables– not the case here! A generous portion of tofu, string beans, sliced mushrooms, tiny corn cobs, sliced carrots, bell peppers in the perfect ratio– every bite is the same- loaded & balanced flavor. The Sweet & Sour Chicken is delicious, egg rolls are fried to perfection either a flavorful filling inside & very tasty. The staff is friendly & efficient. The restaurant is clean & tidy as well. I recommend China Star to all and we will absolutely be back!

I’m sorry but whoever is answering the phone for orders needs to either find another job or learn some customer service skills. Second the phone was picked up I got “hang on!” In an aggressive voice. I knew I should’ve just hung up and found another place but figured it was a crazy, busy, rough night. So when she picked up , I placed my order. Then comes “68.33 bye” Phone is just hung up. Nothing more.
With that being said, it’s not a rough or crazy night, whoever it is, is just rude. So called back, cancelled my order and found somewhere else. If this restaurant wants business, change whoever answers the phone for orders. No telling how many customers you’ve lost with that sort of attitude.

This place reminds me of true NY / Philly style takeout chinese, right to the bullet proof glass they talk to you through. It reminds me of places I used to frequent in those cities.
Definitely worth a run on a “I dont know what to eat” or “chinese food sounds real good” nights.

Food is veryy mediocre. Rice a 2/5, chicken 2/5 super dry and very flaky like it was made yesterday. Egg roll 3.5/5. This is my second time and food is the same nothing special about this place at all, wouldn’t recommend.

Sent my husband to get me chow mein. The lady taking his ordering kept questioning him on lomein. Don’t know if she didn’t understand CHOW MEIN, but after ordering that’s not what was given to me. It was a slop of vegetables and shrimp, literally looked like soup with 0 noodles. Absolutely ridiculous .
