China Star chinese restaurant on State Rd. 200 at “On Top Of The World” has a menu with many options. They have various dishes as fried rice, lo mein, chow mein, special platters, soups, ribs chicken wings…surely you’ll find something that you would like. The prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly.
I recommend this chinese restaurant.

First-timer ordering Chinese food from here. I had the large chicken chow mein, as this is normally my go-to whenever I order take out. First off, I noticed it was $2 more than the other two places I frequent closer to home. Secondly, when I opened it up, the pieces of chicken were miniscule. Lastly, I felt like I paid for nothing more than a cut up onion, a few pieces of peeled carrot and little else. Needless to say, they’re making a killing off this subpar plate of something they call chicken chow mein but it’s far from what I’m used to. One and done!

We’ve been here for takeout 5 times hoping it would improve but unfortunately it hasn’t! This is a busy place. The General Tso’s has never been spicy like it should and the chicken is always rather dry and the breading is dried up and a weird crisp. Today we tried two different dishes I ordered chicken Kung Po and unfortunately that was the worse chicken, I don’t think I can call it chicken it was that crispy over fried dried breading. Extremely disappointing. It had alot…alot of fresh celery, and some carrots and onions nicely cooked. It looked so good too.
My husband ordered spicy shrimp #95 it tasted like sweet and sour shrimp..no spice at all again.

China Star is not the best food we’ve ever had. But they are pretty good and by far, not the worst. Some things are better than others. Of course personal tastes also come into play.
We have tried them more than once and haven’t regretted it. Yes some things are only okay. But some things are very good. Again, it depends on your personal taste.
Prices seem on par with other similar restaurants. They are convenient to us, so they get a little extra slack. The restaurant seems adequately clean. And service seems good. So I guess I could recommend giving them a try.

I’ve Been coming for years but not any more, boneless ribs were completely dried out rice dried out and I called she asked me to bring back, 20 minutes away to get new, I said I am not coming round trip of 40 minutes again. Her response is, we need the food back, or I give you 10% next time. No thank you and I will go elsewhere. You’ve good customers!

First time trying this pace and it is really good. The egg rolls were crispy and full of flavors, the lo mein was full of flavors, the house special fried rice was very good as well. The honey chicken was crispy and great flavor. I totally recommend this place!!!!

My 1st time purchasing food from this place. I wasn’t thrill. All the meats I order were hard, burnt, & dry . My boneless ribs, sweet sour chicken, and fried chicken wings were burnt. Even my egg roll was burnt. The fries rice was ok. I have posted pics. Dont think I will try them again. $35 I would rather spend elsewhere.

$19.15 for 2 quarts of Hot & Sour soup. No ones smiles. Service is cold and unappreciative of business.
I dont usually leave reviews when service is poor and food is over priced. The food was not worth driving to pick it up.
