Though pricier than other Chinese “fast service” restaurants, this one is by far my favorite. Heaping servings of everything I’ve tried here. My favorites include veggie lo mein, house special fried rice, sweet & sour chicken, general tso’s chicken, and DEFINITELY the Chinese donuts!

The food didn’t taste authentic if you really like Chinese food this not the place. At first they tried to serve us some chicken and Bourbon sauce the chicken didn’t look like chicken!!! Didnt look appetizing at all. Had my boyfriend take it back and the lady started yelling at him and arguing with the cook. So unprofessional!! Never eating here again. Food was garbage this picture is after I finished smh it was so nasty tasted old. The health department need to pay these guys a visit asap!!

First time ordering and I’m very impressed! Crunchy noodles not stale!! Big pet peeve. Beef Hunan very good flavor and meat was very tender. Bourbon chicken was outstanding!! Will definitely be my new local go to!

If you order from here be armed with the knowledge that this restaurant will have no problem wasting your time for sub-par food.
The first time I ordered from here it took 2 hours to have it delivered. It was a Friday night so I let it slide. The second time I ordered pickup and had the same issue, my food was not ready after an hour of waiting. The third time was a Monday night and my food was not delivered after an hour so I gave them a ring. The woman said that it was on its way, I live 10 minutes away. After another 30 minutes I called and canceled my order. The food is not amazing and most definitely not worth the wait. Their egg rolls seem to be just fried mush. Do not waste your time.

I absolutely love this place. The food is authentic Chinese food. The prices are more than reasonable. The owner is a professional chef and takes pride in serving fabulous hot delicious food. Combos are the best deal but I do love everything I have ordered here. I have always been served fast and always with a smile. Check it out. You will enjoy immensely. You can get it delivered to home if you live with in 5 mile radius. Enjoy

Ordered through Door Dash. We have been burned a few times with cold, nasty food when using this service but not tonight. This place has fresh l, perfectly cooked Chinese food that really hit the mark! Veggies were crisp, not mushy. Shrimp were large and had the perfect texture as well. They followed all our instructions to make certain dishes extra spicy and leave out certain items. This is my new go-to spot for Chinese in Sanford/Lake Mary area. Great job!

This is the best Chinese food in Central Florida. I’ve lived in Seminole County for 10 years and I’ve eaten at China Star since moving here and I’ve not been disappointed once. I’ve had food delivered, I’ve ordered for pick-up and I’ve probably ordered everything on the menu at least once and I’ve never been disappointed. The best item on the menu? The house fried rice. I love this restaurant and every employee had been amazing and professional and great to deal with.

Delivery was faster than expected. My order (shrimp) was fine, but my husband’s order was not. His chicken was obviously old and so dry you couldn’t Pierce it with a fork, much less chew it. He called to have it replaced, and was told to bring it in!! We had it delivered in the first place- we should not be asked to bring in THEIR mistake. Poor service. Will not be back.
