I’ve only eaten here a handful of times..always take out. I have yet to have anything I didnt like. The food has always been prepared quick, everything is correct with my order, it’s hot and fresh. Not all Chinese dishes taste the same from different places due every restaurant using different recipes and usually has different variations of sauce. I have had the sesame chicken , chicken and broccoli and shrimp and broccoli and all have been delish!! I preferred them all over the flavor and cost of the other popular Chinese place over on Richmond rdn

The owners cooked for us on their day off for a baby shower we were having so the food was fresh. It is the ONLY chinese restaurant I will eat at here. Love them!

5 stars for Chinese takeout
We had the crab rangoon, General Tso’s chicken, and honey chicken.
Ordering was easy and quick, they let us sub vegetable fried rice instead of pork fried rice for our combo platter, great prices, food was ready quickly, and really great portions.
There are small, clean booths where you can sit to eat. Service was great.
We preferred the General Tso’s and the crab rangoon was well seasoned. We would eat here again if we were in the area

Worst Chinese food I have had in a very long time. Orange Beef was gelatinous and fried rice had an odd taste — kind of like stale MSG. Four stars? Seriously? Have the people of Williamsburg ever tasted average or even good Chinese? I’m guessing no from these reviews and this laughable rating. Chat GPT please translate China Zero Star: 避免中国零星级

We stopped here for a meal on our way home from Hampton, and it was one of the worst dining decisions we’ve made. We ordered two family meals for our group of five, expecting ample food, but it was far from enough. Normally, a single family meal suffices at most restaurants, but here, the portions were shockingly small. On top of that, the prices were absurdly high—$7 for a quart of white rice and $2.30 for a single shrimp roll, which is completely unreasonable.
As for the food quality, it was incredibly disappointing. The shrimp rolls had a fishy aftertaste and were barely filled. The chicken on a stick was the only thing that came close to being decent, but even those kabobs were tiny. The lo mein, sesame chicken, and beef and broccoli were inedible. The lo mein had an unpleasant, strange taste, the sesame chicken tasted like a bland General Tso’s with no spice, and the beef and broccoli was completely flavorless and lacked any sauce. We had to add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and MSG just to make it edible.
It’s baffling how this place maintains a rating above 4.0. Honestly, it deserves no more than a 2.0. Save yourself the disappointment and find a better option if you’re looking for decent Chinese food in Williamsburg. Do yourself a favor and travel elsewhere, if this is the best Williamsburg has to offer!
