I saw this place in East Haven ai was out for a bike ride. I’ve been craving Chinese food and haven’t found my go to spot yet. I ordered shrimp in lobster sauce and tofu with mixed vegetables. Both came with rice, and my total was about $28. There’s enough food for three or four meals. I’d definitely go back! This Chinese food spot is hands down the best!!! Every time I order from them late at night I get really hot fresh food!!!! Ya straight fire!!! And they put all the extras without me asking. China Star cooks extremely heavy with oil and all the food is shiny and just smothered in grease. The chicken fingers were overcooked as were the wings. They could use 1/3 of the oil and cook the food just fine. Food just sucked overall.

Have been ordering here for quite a few years. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The food is consistently good. I have ordered Fried Dumplings, Gen Tso Chicken, Lo Mein. Never had an issue. Delivery is usually good as well.
