They smoke cigarettes in the kitchen while cooking the customers’ food. All of our meals (with the exception of deep-fried items) tasted and smelled like an ash tray. Disgusting.

My wife and I decided to come here for the first time and order out. We order 2 platters with plain chicken wings and plain lo mein, told the guy to add garlic sauce on the lo mein. When I got home, the garlic sauce was on the wings. Horrible! The lo mein was so dry and bad. On top of that, it was really salty. I also ordered Fried rice, the it was extremely salty. On top of being so pricey, bad service and food and the area isn’t so pleasant,we will never come here again. And I don’t recommend this takeout place to anyone. Idk what people are saying that the food is good, heck no! Unless they must love salty nasty food. Never again!

Food delivered sideways the delivery driver is rude rings the doorbell 7-8 times then proceeded to open my glass front door. Then when asked to put food on chair as I’d wanted no contact he stood there like he don’t understand…. No forks in the bag no mustard food scheduled to be delivered for 12:30 showed up at 12. Yes it was early but it scheduled to be delivered for my spouse’s lunch. The egg rolls taste like frozen just flash fried and I’m searching for a fork because you don’t get one now apparently. Very disappointed

I used to come here all the time. The food used to be amazing, but it has consistently gone downhill over the last year. I kept going back here though, hoping that the quality would improve to where it used to be. The last time I went though, the food was terrible and I’m now I’m never going back again. And honestly the prices are way too high, plus the wait times can be really long.

don’t judge a book by it’s cover sums up this place perfectly – the location and storefront are abysmal but the food is delicious. too many other local Chinese places serve up “sesame breading” when you order sesame chicken. Not this place, there’s actual CHICKEN in there – go figure ! ask for white meat and you will be even more pleased – prices are extremely fair and they are very consistent – I have ordered from them a half dozen times and each time the food is exactly the same. won ton soup is WELL above average and the sauces are delicious. dumplings and veggie fried rice need some improvement however. Don’t forget to VENT your meal on the way home to maintain it’s textural integrity 🙂

NEVER again. And I’ve been a customer for 14 years. Argued over a replacement and the owner said to me that if I complain again, he’ll no longer take my order. No problem Johnny boy, you’ve lost a customer. Complained 3 times in 14 years by the way. Not bad. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors John. You should think twice about how you talk to customers and realize that a customer is key to your business because you just lost a long time customer. I know carnival vendors who treat their temporary customers better than you treat long time customers, myself and others.

Absolutely the most rudest people I’ve ever spoke to on the phone in my life!! I will never ever order from them again I’ve been ordering over 20 years the food is disgusting now and the prices are outrageous on top of being disrespected and hung up on in the middle of ordering my food!!! Food is good sometimes, but since the pandemic their prices went up. They’re really expensive compared to the other Chinese restaurants in ansonia, which I think is really weird. I ordered chicken wings and a large pork fried rice my meal came out to 20 something and some change on top of that they gave me rice from a previous order that somebody placed earlier on in the day as if i wouldn’t know the difference between rice that was made awhile ago and fresh rice.
