So I previously made a review about Chan sea that was 5 stars. Which all the food and service at that time was great. We decided to order over the weekend and try some more items as it’s under new management and the food was better. We ordered chicken wings well done (they were not well done) crab ragoon (delicious) boneless spare ribs ( very fatty and could have been cooked longer) vegetable fried rice(was ok) salt and pepper shrimp( wasn’t not fried enough and there was not a salt and pepper taste. Just fried with peppers and I think garlic. Even the peppers were different.) egg rolls (great) and Singapore rice noodles ( the shrimp and this was the biggest disappointment. It was literally just fry curry lo mein!) and chicken fingers (great)
What I will say is we will keep this as a late night last minute place as it was before.

Being Fancy Entertainment
I was skeptical about coming here because I came years ago and the food had no taste but I was told they were under new management so I gave them a try. The owner was really nice and she explained that she was trying to build great customer satisfaction back up and she did with me. I came in only for wings and they were good. So crispy with alot of flavor. I also received a complimentary lobster sauce and rice. I will definitely come back.

Order boneless spareribs, chicken wings, chicken fingers, and pork fried rice. I ordered my food around 3:40 because they open at 3:30 and I assumed the food would be fresh. My order was made from left overs (rice, wings, and boneless spareribs) from the night before or even longer. The chicken fingers would give anyone a heart attack. If you look at the photo with all grease that is from the chicken fingers. When I realized despite how much I tried to squeeze the grease and it remained I threw it away. The food looked and tasted a few days old. Disgusting!

Went here on a last minute food rush and called in an order. The person that answered the phone was so helpful and patient and explained a lobster special which I took advantage of.
Upon getting there I saw a woman doing DIY work and recognized her voice and it was Lin, the new owner. I can see immediate differences and improvements and I’m impressed. Service is a big deal and I can immediately tell that she cares and is trying to rebuild and rebrand.
Also offered me an ice tea which is UNBELIEVABLE! 2

I been eatting here since the late 1980’s. I was like 16 years old then. Between 1985-1990 the food was excellent. Then I moved out of state. from time to time I come back home and visit. During the last 20 years the food isn’t as good as it was in the late 80’s. I figure the restaurant has went through different owners within the last 30 years. Well I had the pleasure of coming home to visit on 05-06-2018 and stop by to eat. Wasn’t the year 1989 food I was use to. but it wasnt bad either. I gave it 3 stars because I remember when I would have donated a kidney for a plate of food out of there. Now it just ok. Again not nasty. But I seen better food come out that kitchen, back in the day. Hopefully the food doesn’t decline any further. If it does I will update this post.

I saw the comments before going over there and I can confirm: the owner is a really nice person. He sincerely showed us the best deals of his menu. The food was really good as well. Only issue, my husband ordered a shrimp Lo mein but his meal had only a few shrimps… You can’t eat there as there’s no tables and chairs. Yet, it seems that it used to have some a long time ago. I saw near restaurants having a « NO LOITERING. POLICE IS ON NOTICE » I assume the neighbourhood might had troubles with some customers…

If you tip your driver, DO IT IN CASH OR THIS PLACE ROLLS IT INTO THE DELIVERY CHARGE THE DRIVER NEVER SEES.
I am visiting family for their birthday and ordered food from here online. I chose the option FROM their site that said restaurant recommended, directly from them.
Cool. Til it wasn’t. When I added everything up and went to add tip, they do it based off of the final total of the tax AND delivery charge AND subtotal! What the what?!
So I gave the driver* a tip based off of the subtotal like a normal person. Ring ring, the restaurant calls me and asked me to TELL her the number since her computer is….broken. We were hungry, so I did, but I should’ve just cancelled the order.
I get the order and we don’t get a menu as asked for and they ADDED the tip to the delivery charge and scammed the driver! And me! And they gave us food we didn’t order. I had kids and they were excited for chicken fingers and they gave us some random combo meal. The restaurant called ME to scam ME and change the order to screw the driver.
I have lived in Boston all my life and have never had a place scam me til this place. Yum Yums they aren’t!
Read your receipts y’all.
I have a mind to just call my bank and dispute this whole charge, but my family enjoyed the food. I sure as heck WON’T be ordering from here again. EVER!
It was so unnecessary with the duplicity of scamming customers and drivers, for MORE than I ordered and so the bill was $3 more than I ordered!
See online receipt vs what I got. I saw the receipt when the driver handed it to me and was PISSED.
This place hasn’t seen morals and doesn’t deserve our community dollars.
