This was our first trip so we ordered a few things to try. The house fried rice was really good. The egg rolls very flavorful the cheese puffs some of the largest in have had. The negative was both the cheese puff and sesame seed balls seamed under cooked. Service was nice and fast. We didn’t have to wait long on food order.

One of my favorite Asian restaurants in Humble. General Tso chicken, and hot and sour soup is the best. The new 2026 menu is great. Together Heart is my new favorite because it’s half general tso and crispy shrimp with sweet mayo sauce. Staff is friendly and restaurant is clean.

Oh i give this place a 10/10!! I ordered here for the first time and let me tell you , food i was AMAZING! I ordered Togo and it was still piping hot when we got home. The food tasted SO delicious. And the pricing isn’t bad for the proportions at all!! Every affordable. I will definitely be coming back
Edit: I’ve eaten multiple times takeout and I definitely wanted to try it dine in. So I took my family and we absolutely loved it!! I always got take out during dinner and I never realized the prices were so cheap! Definitely will be my to go to Chinese spot!

Been coming here for years. Was wondering where the owner was. By the reviews I see they have new owners. We were the only ones there and they took forever. The taste has definitely gone down and it has now become more expensive. We ordered orange chicken for my son and I don’t know what the heck that was definitely not orange chicken. Server was nice but will not be returning.

My husband and I went here since we were in the mood for Chinese food. It was our first time coming here. We decided to try a little bit of everything so we got appetizers, main dishes, and dessert. The service was friendly and decent. They have these really neat placemats that have the Chinese zodiacs on it. It was entertaining us while we waited for our food. We really liked the wonton soup, the dumplings, the fried rice, and the general tso chicken. We were pleasantly surprised with the portions! They were really large plates and left us more than satisfied. This is a solid place to go to for Chinese food and we’ll probably come back in the future

Came here on Oct. 21 and ordered Spring Rolls as an appetizer and for the main dish I ordered egg drop soup, Tso’s chicken, brown rice and an egg roll and an iced tea. China River has been my go to spot since I’ve moved to Humble. After yesterday’s delivery I’m done with this place. The fried dumplings were filled with something different. The special fried rice had 2 shrimp in it. It was an expensive meal for me to be so disappointed.

I had a craving for Mongolian beef so I stopped at the closest Chinese restaurant to me. Cheap cuts of meat, not tender & didn’t taste very good. Plus the inside of the restaurant smells like a public restroom. For $15 an order, I expected better.
