I went to China Red a couple days ago with a few of my friends, and we all had a great time! The staff was very kind and the interior was lovely. Additionally, I loved that the menu is versatile and suitable for different dietry requirements. I especially enjoyed the lemon chicken

It was our first time dining at China Red and we absolutely loved our experience here. The food and drinks were excellent.
Some of our party had the set menu, and others chose their own dishes. They were happy to substitute pancakes instead of lettuce for the crispy lamb, which was appreciated.
Our set menu starters were absolutely amazing. The smoked chicken was the star of the show, but the duck pancakes and scallops were also spectacular. Dim sum basket was small but great. Couldn’t fault any of the starters.
We loved the mains too – we had rib eye beef with green beans, sea bass, egg fried rice, and sugar snap & water chestnuts. Our favourite was probably the sea bass which was done perfectly. Another of our party had beef in black bean, the beef was not great quality but that is our only complaint.
Drinks were great, my banana cocktail was lovely. I had custard buns for dessert.
Overall, excellent tasty food and will certainly be back to try another set menu! They are reasonable value when you think about everything you’re getting, and it takes the thought process out of choosing.

What a bad meal, been eating here for a long time and worse meal I have had, brought starters and mains out at the same time which never happened before and wasn’t what we ordered. Offer to take it away keep it warm but it was warm/cold when it arrived, all arrived in 10mins of ordering. Starter then came half way through our mains. Said the food we didn’t order wasn’t to be paid for, but was added to the bill. Staff couldn’t have cared less and cost me £95 for the warm meal with food we didn’t ordered. If your looking for enjoyable meal like a lot me people then I would think twice about going here. Staff don’t understand that when you have to argue about your meal and try and get your points across then it makes the meal even less appealing.

First visit and had a lovely meal, we went for a banquet so we could try a bit of everything and it was all very good, only regret being I was staying in a hotel and so nowhere to put any leftovers!

Family dinner, was there once before a few years back and it was good, this time it was better ! Feels like real Chinese food, huge choices (too many maybe?) but every dishes tasted and looked different, only shame is that we were in the bar area rather than restaurant proper, but didn’t worried much once food was served, very nice and pleasant staff, will be back on my next trip

First time in the restaurant, food and service were excellent. We did not have a booking but they managed to accommodate us, 2 adultos and 2 small kids. The food was great, a real Chinese food, some of the dishes remembers me my time living in China years ago. We totally recommended this place.
