Absolutely fantastic, a very wide range of dishes and deserts. They have a candyfloss machine and a waffle station which ive never seen in any buffet type restaurant so it really is a unique place. Food was lovely and fresh, the restaurant was very clean and staff were helpful. Will definitely be back in the future as it was great value

We had an amazing dining experience at this highly recommended Chinese restaurant! My wife and I tried a variety of dishes and loved every single one – especially the starters and chicken-based mains (we only eat chicken, but they offer a great variety of other meats too). The salad area was also fresh and well presented.
A special shoutout to Mr. Madhiwan for his warm and friendly customer service – he truly made us feel welcome and taken care of. The rest of the staff were also incredibly polite and attentive throughout our visit.
If you’re looking for authentic, flavour-packed Chinese food with top-notch service, this place is a must-visit!

China Red is such a great spot in Edinburgh if you’re craving authentic Chinese food with plenty of variety. It’s a buffet-style restaurant with a fixed price, which makes it super convenient, and the quality of the food really surprised me — fresh, tasty, and lots of options to choose from (including a wide selection of desserts ).

Very empty tonight and the food quality seemed to be worse than usual, probably due to the aged food laying around. I usually don’t like coming here when it’s busy but everytime i do the food is always piping hot and fresher it seems. A lot of the staff were on their phones and at the waffle station the lady had her back to us with her full attention on her phone. The pancake wrap for the crispy duck were all dry and gone that stale way. Good value but they need to do put more effort in marketing, staff, food quality and the general place needs a revamp

Whatever Kelly earns it should be more! She did a really good job and made our dining experience wonderful.
The food was way better than I expected from a buffet and especially the spicy fish dish which was full of chillies and very tasty.
