I ordered through DoorDash and got a call from the restaurant that one item was not available, and I called them back to provide a substitute. But my order was cancelled without my knowing and now it’s almost 10 Pm and I have no food and no car and I’m hungry!!!

This place usually has good food. I waited over 2 hours for delivery I kept calling and all anyone said is the drivers a few blocks away. When I expressed my dissatisfaction and said I shouldn’t have to pay for my food or ar least get a discount, they said the manager said they can’t do that. But it was ok that delivery took 2 hours? I didn’t get my food until 1015 pm and I ordered at 813 and was told 40-50 minutes for delivery which was fine at 1 hour and 10 minutes I called and was told he was a few blocks away didn’t get food until 1015pm

I love ordering Chinese food from here.
Granted I have never ordered delivery and it seems like that’s where a lot of the negative reviews are coming from.
However, pickup has never failed me. They pack the containers to the top and do not skimp on the portions.
My favorites are the Beef Lo Mein, Hot and Sour soup, Beef with Garlic Sauce and Moo Shu Pork
Yes at times when I got to pick up the food there is a bit of wait but not more than 10 minutes. They are always busy in the back so I get it.
Food is good. Period. If you want that classic greasy (in a good way) hearty yummy Chinese food, this is the place in Stamford for me.

One of the standout features of China Pavilion was their timely delivery. My food arrived promptly and was still piping hot, which is always a plus in my book. Another notable aspect of their food was the fact that it was not overly greasy, which can sometimes be an issue with Chinese cuisine.
The pricing was right on point, making it affordable to enjoy their wide selection of dishes without breaking the bank. In addition, the parking was plentiful and easily accessible, which is always a bonus when dining out.
The cashier was incredibly courteous and made my visit that much more enjoyable. They were patient and attentive, making sure that all of my questions were answered and that I had a great overall experience.
Last but not least, the food itself was clean and well-prepared. Each dish was packed with flavor and made with fresh ingredients. I appreciate a restaurant that values cleanliness, and China Pavilion definitely delivered in that regard.

Very racist. My husband went inside to get food and they attended a person who was there and the person after with out even acknowledging him! We ordered food on the phone which was simple broccoli and brown rice which they said should only take 10-15 min. After they attended to the other customers and didn’t acknowledge him to even ask if he order or needed to order they after went to the back and he waited for a total of 40 min!!!! Never coming here again

I give this place 4.5 stars. Well for starters the food is great. I’ve had food here since I was little. Honestly you couldn’t go wrong with this place. Although I am upset about the dumplings. Both steamed and fried. The dough is to thick and is not like other dumplings like I’ve had in the past. Other than that the chicken is amazing. A classic is chicken wing & pork fried rice.

We used to pick up from here often. The food is always good. We’ve moved to near the courthouse so we decided to get it delivered. We’ve ordered delivery 3 different times. Every time it took such a long time to get our food.
Tonight was the last straw. It took 2 hours to come. And they forgot the sauces that comes with the dumplings. We ordered 2 orders. We called them and after being transfered to 2 different people theu said they would send the driver back. So we wait….20 minutes later he shows up. Now the food is cold. We will NEVER order from them again. There are many Chinese takeout restaurants in Stamford. We will be more than happy to give the other establishments our business.

We placed an order at 8:15pm for delivery and waited an hour and 15 mins and nothing came. We order a simple meal and called 3 times. Lady keep on saying 5 mins the driver will be arriving and nothing came. So I had to cancelled my order and we are never ordering there ever again.
