Me an my buddy had the phenomenal idea to go to a buffet after church. Upon agreement, we decided to do to this dumpster fire of a buffet. Low expectations going in, and all were met. AC, nonexistent. Price, overly. Service, best I’ve ever received. Chow our waiter gave us constant refills, and assured us great customer service. Front Desk lady wanted my roommates to go broke. Other than horrible food, dirty establishment, and mediocre dessert. We had a great time looking at the half lit bat signal of a palace buffet. In short, never coming back. But give a chow a raise.

Typically buffet. Didn’t see Mongolian grill limited sushi but watermelon which is my favorite dessert. A little expensive $21 for lunch but that was weekend price

The top WORST Buffett palace! DO NOT waste your money or time pls! $100 for 4 people. The customer service is HORRIBLE, specifically the miserable lady taking payment at the front with her ugly attitude. Excluding one Hispanic gentleman. It’s VERY humid/thick with no AC, no clean plates, floors or tables & a lot of water damage. The food is not fresh AT ALL.
I recommend the buffet palace in west gate, better prices, clean & fresher food with 3x the variety!!

In all honesty this place was nast. We walked in, and immediately the front desk lady was a little rude. She asked our drink order immediately and we were confused, and was rushing us when there was no line. $20. We sat down; Pepsi was good. Then it happened. We got our food. We had very high high hopes for a livin. But everything was nasty. Maybe the rice pudding would’ve saved the place but I didn’t try any so maybe just try that and lmk if it’s good. The guy tried to save the place by giving us a dum dum so he should get a raise.

*I am not one to leave reviews unless is necessary, but this one must be read by anyone bringing their special needs children with them to this establishment.* My family has always eaten here at least twice a month. It is our go-to place whenever we’re craving Chinese food because I am allergic to shellfish and thankfully, never had an allergic reaction while eating here. I am very careful not to take servings from the steam plates next to the shrimp, crab legs, crawfish, etc. and never had any issues bringing my family to this place until today. On January 3rd, 2026 at around 1:30-1:40pm, me and my family arrive at this place like always and go to the cashier to pay for the buffet. We always bring our son, who is on the autism spectrum to have lunch with us. The first time we ate there, we asked if we could bring our son with his own food instead because he has food aversion, sensory issues and shellfish allergy which makes it hard for us to eat out as a family. They assured us it was OK so, we’ve been doing this for many years. We even buy him a fountain drink from this place every time because we are still paying customers and we don’t want to be rude bringing someone who will not consume anything there, until today. There was this new asian lady that we’ve never seen before, she takes our order, we tell her that our son will eat his own food (which we brought, chicken nuggets and an ice cream cone) but we’ll buy him a drink, like we always do. We’ll, she said “we charge $10 for him, starting right now, there’s a rule we charge $10”. My husband asked “Since when? Because we’ve been coming here for years and we’ve never had this issue before”. It’s not like he’s going to eat from the buffet without paying. We even showed her his bag from McDonald’s and she still wanted to charge us $10 for him. Nowhere in this restaurant there is signage of this new “rule” like she said, about this $10 charge for non-consumption ANYWHERE. The rudeness of this cashier was in no way part of a language barrier, which we all could tell, as me and my family speak two languages. How come that “rule” was starting right then and there when we showed up? This place was the only one I found that we could all eat together and me not being afraid of having an allergic reaction. Most of all, we were still paying customers, I guess not anymore. Do what’s best for your children, and choose an establishment where they actually care about their returning customers, not about making more money out of special needs parents who are already struggling to make ends meet.

Nasty!!! Don’t do it! I ordered online hoping the food would be fresh and it wasn’t. Food wasn’t even edible. The chicken and beef were slimy. The beef was an odd gray color. Rice was disgusting. Just order from somewhere else!

There isnt much about this place to like. Majority of the staff are kind of rude. Its always dirty. The food is often old and and sometimes even unchewable. But I kept coming back anyways just for the fried crabs because they were usually pretty okay. But not on top of all the other flaws the A/C went out. The last time I was there I had to leave before I was done eating because I was drenched in sweat. Its so hot. I feel like its inhumane to even have the staff working in those conditions. I am going to the only other chinese buffet in town now. They have everything this one has except they actually have a functioning AC, friendly staff, and clean restaurant.

I was in the SSC office with my roommate, who was quite hungry at the time. In a spontaneous decision to satisfy our hunger, we ventured inside. If we been aware of the available options beforehand, we might have made a different choice altogether and avoided the visit entirely. DON’T GO THERE!
The food was below average. I’m not sure how this restaurant is still operating. The only thing I enjoy was pwran tempura; otherwise, everything else is terrible. It’s a buffet, but I didn’t get the buffet vibe.
The entryway was a little different than other restaurants. There was some vending machines and some toys for children. This seemed a little unique.
Bathrooms are terrifying. Really unhygienic. It was horrible.
Yes, the restaurant had a Chinese vibe, such as the celling and the pillers, which reminded me of old Chinese homes. They also offer a party section and a decent seating arrangement. However, the entire place was dirty. The tables were clean, but the floors were unclean and dusty. and the whole place had a wired smell.
It is restaurant with a chinese name with disgusting food.

China Palace Super Buffet has a decent spread with a variety of Chinese dishes, sushi, and some American options. The food was mostly tasty, though some items were lukewarm and could’ve been fresher. I was a bit disappointed with the cleanliness—tables and floors were a little dirty, which took away from the experience. The staff were polite but seemed busy, so service was just okay. The price is fair for the selection, but the dated decor and cleanliness issues were noticeable. I might return, but I hope they improve the upkeep and food freshness.
