China Palace is absolutely amazing. The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish tasted hot, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked — nothing greasy or bland like you sometimes get with takeout. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the portions were generous, making it totally worth it.
You can really tell they take pride in their food because everything had great flavor and balance. It hit that perfect comfort-food spot while still tasting high quality. If you’re craving delicious Chinese food that’s fresh, tasty, and satisfying, China Palace is definitely the place to go. I’ll 100% be coming back.

My family has been eating at China Palace since it opened in Calexico. I love this place. I have since moved away from the valley, but still eat here every time I visit. I am so grateful they are still open and every dish tastes like it did 40 years ago. The service is always quick and attentive. I love this place. It’s definitely an oldie but goodie.

Owner (Mario) & staff are always attentive and very friendly. Salt & Pepper fish is hands down the best in the valley. Food is overall good, you can’t go wrong with almost any dish.

Excellent food and service! Nothing compares! I have been going to China Palace for over 40 years and the food has always been top notch! I highly recommend the Mongolian Beef or Chicken, Egg Rolls, Sesame Chicken, Cantonese Broccoli, Salt & Pepper Shrimp, Cantonese Chicken, Cantonese Foo Yong, Sizzling Steak…..The list is endless! Jorge always provides the best service and Mario and Aurora are always so welcoming! A+++!
