My first impression was poor. I could smell mildew when they opened the takeout window.
I had the Szechuan Chicken with String Beans. It was bland, the texture is unappealing, and there were no string beans. My wife’s Szechuan Chicken in Garlic Sauce was much the same. However, the Egg Rolls were ok and the person we grabbed the food from was pleasant.
All and all, I recommend looking somewhere else if you’re hungry.

First time here and I must say I’m surprised how good it was. Usually I’m very pensive about going to Chinese restaurants that are in former fast food buildings. Waitress was friendly and kind. Food was delicious and fresh. The egg rolls will play with your mind they are that good. Easily the best I’ve had in years. The wanton soup was well made and served with hand made friend noodles. The General Tso’s Chicken was perfect. The coating on the chicken was light and crisp and not drowning in sauce. The fried rice was perfectly done and complimented the meal nicely. The dining room was clean and in nice condition. Slightly dated but not dirty. Would recommend highly. The egg rolls alone are worth the trip.

I love Chinese food, and I have eaten at a lot of places around here. China Palace (Or Flower Horn, since they changed their name) is the best Chinese food I have ever eaten. I have ordered from here probably 30 or 40 times and never had an issue with anything. Everything is so fresh and it tastes like it was made by your very own Chinese Grandma, in a kitchen, personally just for you. Their General Tso’s is unlike anything you’ve ever had. Everything just tastes so amazing. I highly doubt you will ever go anywhere else after you’ve tried it here.

Delicious! We did carry out. Ordered General Tsos, chicken fried rice, egg rolls, and crab Rangoon. Best egg rolls we have ever had. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Only suggestion would be to order fortune cookies. They must not come with your order.

They used to have the best bourbon chicken I’ve ever tasted. I would drive all the way from Fairborn to get it. Sometime in the last year they changed their recipe, and now it’s not very good at all. Definitely no longer worth the drive. Don’t know if it changed owners or what, but I wish they had kept the recipes the same. Not sure of the other dishes besides their crab rangoons. Those are still good.

The food was delicious! It’s really a shame the customer service was so poor. I ordered from Grubhub. I attempted to call the store a few times because I like a little extra soy sauce with my food. Voicemail all three times. No problem, I just noted on my Grubhub order for the driver to please request a couple extra packets of soy sauce. She was told I needed to call in to pay for a couple extra packets. Come on guys, I’m glad I didn’t ask for salt or napkins as it’s hard to say what they’d cost!? This otherwise would’ve been a 5 star review. Too bad greed overruled customer service.

Been coming here for years, always loved their food!!! Well that all changed with new ownership. Total different food, different taste. It’s not terrible, just not what we fell in love with the past 10+ yrs. Won’t be back. If anyone knows a place that does a white sauce for their egg foo young PLEASE let me know!!

First visit in over a year and we were very disappointed in the new management. The main dish had a different flavor, but wasn’t bad. I Ordered two orders of crab Rangoon and received only one small container (2 tbsp) of red sauce. This was barely enough for one order let alone two orders. We were definitely disappointed in the actual crab rangoon itself. There was probably less than a half a teaspoon of filling in each rangoon and what was there was dry. I got the feeling that they are trying to save money, but that backfired because we will now be trying other Chinese restaurants.

Great place for VERY authentic Asian food. This is the place if you want something authentic and not like the other many Chinese restaurants around. You must tried their seafood or shrimp entrees. They are very authentic and VERY good. There are menu items at China Palace that you will not find unless you go to Cincinnati or Columbus. I am so glad to have this restaurant in Englewood.
