We’re in the area of Taylorsville for the summer. Just my wife and I. We decided to give China One a try for takeaway. We’ve been from Los Angeles to Bar Harbor and tasted our share of Chinese cuisine.
From their large menu we ordered chicken cashew, egg drop soup, pork fried rice, edamame and pork egg rolls. The food was fresh and clean. The chicken cashew had generous portions of meat, carrots, celery and sauce. The soup broth was thinner in a good way, not like some that come out thick. No corn, onion or peas. Just unadulterated broth and egg. Really clean egg taste. The food was cooked in vegetable oil without being oily. One caveat: steamed white rice does not come with the entrée. You must order it off the menu (sm$4/lg$5.25).
We recommend China One for authentic Chinese food; price inline with quality; its extensive menu; use of 100% vegetable oil and a Grade A sanitary inspection certificate. 4.5 stars. Enjoy!

I’d give them 0 stars if I could. Had multiple people pay and then didn’t have their food ready for 2 hours after they had told you it would only take 1.. so in total 3 hours for some chicken and broccoli. They also refused to discount anyone’s food for the wait. Awful experience and I don’t recommend this place to anyone. They also have children running the registers playing video games while people are waiting for their orders to be taken… never again.

They make some of the best of the American Chinese classics that I’ve had. Roast pork is always a good option and their beef/chicken is tender without being over velvety
Food is always prepared well, fast service any time I’ve ordered, most of the dishes have wok hei which brings it to the next level, you don’t see that in most American Chinese restaurants.
Egg rolls are fantastic as well, a little on the small side but well-packed with meat compared to a lot of other spots and never excessively greasy, great flavor
Would order from here over anywhere else nearby any time

Was really good! Honestly, had low expectations, but would 100% order from here again. A great Asian option here in Taylorsville without having to go all the way to Louisville. I had Orange Chicken and my husband had Kung Pao Chicken. Both were delicious, came with their own Tupperware , and were huge portions. Yum!

Okay, I must update my review for the 3rd time now. My wife and I just had another awesome hot meal from here. It was so good!! I am confused by some of the other reviews here. We have eaten here since China One A came to town, and we have had nothing but the best, consistently great food! I have eaten at other Chinese food places around the Louisville area, and none of them offer the quality of food or wonderful service that Nicole and her husband have provided us for so many years. I love Nicole, and she knows it! I believe her huband is the chef, and he has done an awesome job with our food and has never made any mistakes with our orders. We will keep coming back and always look forward to the next meal!
